The cabin has a cathedral ceiling and room partitions for the bedroom and front room. The room partitions go up eight feet, and some noise can pass between rooms.
It has a large front porch to relax on long summer evenings. It is located among the tall Ponderosa pines of Tamarack RV Park. Our RV Park offers a variety of amenities such as coin laundry, ice sales, BBQ patio, and propane firepits (for rent at $9.99/night with propane included).
Please...No smoking in the cabin. No pets.
Tamarack RV is conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants, antique malls, banks, and shopping. This is a great base camp, from which to explore all the exciting area attractions.

Electric didn’t work and smelled bad.
The cabin was cute but it reeked of mildew/mold. The electricity went out in the front half on Christmas Eve leaving no heat, refrigerator or microwave. Message was left on emergency number, but no response by the time we left on Wednesday. Ended up huddling in bed to stay warm. I believe that the shower door drips on the floor and is contributing to the smell. We wiped it dry with a hand towel to keep from making it worse.
I am so sorry the power went out. I was unaware until I went in to clean and noticed the lights weren't working.
We appreciate your honest review, it is evident there are a few things we need to work on.

Cozy but adequate
We were a bit cozy in the cowboy cabin but it had everything that we needed. Cabin is inside an RV park but the area was surprisingly quiet. Located very close to anything you might need during your stay.
Fun place to stay!
This was a great little place to stay on our journey west! Such a nice break from staying in hotels where you have no real privacy or a place to cook. The "Cowboy Canin" is in an RV park which was clean, quiet, and well-maintained. The cabin itself is a permanent trailer consisting of a kitchen/living area, a small bathroom, and a bedroom with a full size bed in it. The kitchen area is tiny but has everything you need for a couple night's stay. The ceiling is open all the way from front to back so it never got stuffy plus there are ceiling fans and a small air conditioner in the bedroom. The shower was small but there was plenty of hot water and laundry facilities were just across the driveway. It was a little dusty inside which I attributed to the fact that the lane it is on is gravel. The only problem we had was that the name displayed on the unit says "Cowboy Bunkhousr" leading to our needing to drive around looking for the "Cowboy Cabin" (my husband just wouldn't believe me...). It really is cute and a perfect little getaway stop. If you are looking for luxury, this isn't your place. But, if you are looking for a fun little place to stay with a kind of "tiny house" feel, this is it!
Cozy, clean, comfortable and well appointed cabin in a quiet setting.
I found myself having to travel for a funeral and after spending time booking flights and a rental car, I dreaded finding a place to stay. I knew after flying and driving, I didn't want to stay in a loud, stuffy, overpriced hotel and so I looked at homes/cabins on another websites, but couldn't find the right fit until I visited HomeAway. I immediately found the perfect place, a cozy clean cabin with everything I needed for a comfortable stay, in a shady, quiet setting. The cabin is located within an RV park among beautiful tall pines, yet close to a grocery store and Lake Coeur-D'Alene. I arrived late in the evening, as my flight was delayed, and was met by a kind lady who guided me thru everything I needed to know and I was at my cabin, unpacked and hooked up to wifi in no time at all. I had a great nights rest and was brewing up a morning pot of coffee when I received a text from the owner informing me that she and her family were at the park doing maintenance and wanted to let me know that her daughter was going to be working on the exterior of the cabin, rolling on a coat of stain/sealer, and that she'd do her best to be quiet. I said that that was fine, as I would be gone the remainder of the day at a funeral and would be back late that evening, but that I did plan on relaxing the remainder of my stay at the cabin. A short while later I remembered that I had left my hairdryer at home and so I contacted the owner and asked if perhaps she had one I could borrow. She showed up right away with a sweet smile and a hairdryer, and kindly asked if I'd mind leaving it in the cabin after I left, for the next guest to use. I thought that awesome! She was as kind and accommoding as could be, which Is why I didn't complain about the work being done on the cabin. I liked that it was clean and well appointed for my stay and the bed was comfortable. The shower was brand new and had hot water for days. The kitchen was small but neat and had everything needed to cook a meal or two. I would definitely stay again and would not hesitate to recommend this place to others. I can only think of one thing that I feel could have been handled better, and that would have been the timing of the maintenance on the cabin. Perhaps blocking off a rental week and taking care of all the necessary work would have been best. But all in all, I feel it was a nice place to stay at a fair price. HomeAway makes finding a place to stay, quick, easy and affordable.
