Perfect for an extended family!

  • 5 of 5

Our stay over the recent holiday week was perfect for our multi-generation family. Rooms for everyone and a great kitchen for sharing and preparing meals. The property was everything we expected and more. We would definitely stay again!

Peaceful getaway for Family Reunions

We come every year in November or December and it is always a treat. The owners are accommodating and are quick to respond to any concerns.

Perfect home for a cousin reunion of 8. We enjoyed the deck with beautiful views!

  • 5 of 5

The log cabin home was perfect for our group of 8. Relaxed on the porch with views of vineyards and the rolling hills. Enjoyed being out of town but close enough if we chose to wine taste and see Paso Robles. Owners were very accommodating and the home was well stocked. We will return :)

FANTASTIC! Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing cabin and property. Had everything we needed. The house itself is extremely spacious with plenty of comfy bedrooms and areas to hangout in.

The view overlooking the rest of the hill is stunning.

If you are looking for a fantastic vacation spot - book this one!

Great place, Exactly what we needed!

  • 5 of 5

We got this property for my wedding party (12+ people) to stay at during our wedding weekend in Paso Robles and everyone was very happy they stayed there. Hank went above and beyond answering all our questions about the property, amenities, and payments; and was super helpful/flexible to accommodate to our big group's needs. This place was perfect for our big group, and it was soooo much cheaper than everyone getting a hotel room, plus the experience (and VIEWS) were much better. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a vacation rental in the Paso Robles area, and I can't say enough about how helpful and nice Hank was.

Great House - Right in the middle of EVERYTHING!!

  • 5 of 5

Everything you read in the reviews about this place is true! Perfect for large families. My family had an unforgettable and wonderful time celebrating a very special birthday here. Close to the wineries and town. Note - check the fridge/pantry before shopping for condiments or spices - well-stocked on basics. Had a quick question for the owner (Hank), and called the number listed - he answered immediately - excellent service! We will definitely be back to Rancho Deeluxe!!!

About Hank Shaw

Hi! We're Dee and Hank Shaw, owners of Rancho Deeluxe. We've owned Rancho Deeluxe for over 30 years. It's been our family get-away place. We started renting the property in 2008 and, in that time, have built a loyal base of 'Rancho Deeluxe Regulars' who come back over and over again.

Hank Shaw purchased this house in 1987

Why Hank Shaw chose Paso Robles

Rancho Deeluxe offers the perfect setting for family gatherings and wine tasting events. With five bedrooms that can sleep up to 10 adults, the house is large enough to spread out yet intimate enough to have family dinners around our 100+ year old oak dining table. Our two covered verandas offer fantastic views of the Paso Robles valley -- the perfect spots to watch the sunrise with a cup of coffee, or the sun setting with a glass of local wine. Guests tell us they often abandon their dinner plans in town because they'd rather hang out on the porch with friends and family.

What makes this house unique

The home is a classic log cabin. It has a rustic appearance, but with modern amenities. It's filled with antiques collected from our travels. There's no other vacation rental home in like it the Paso Robles area.

Car: necessary

Wine tasting at over 250+ nearby wineries. Boating and fishing at Lake Nacimiento and Lake San Antonio.
