We loved our stay in the house! We brought our parents to visit our beloved Camden. The booking was smooth, and the owner sent us information regarding the house just before our stay would commence. The house itself is lovely, and the porch was a wonderful place to sit and visit. The courtyard in the back is absolutely beautiful and the flowers/plants are as well. The only thing I would warn is if you have an aversion to narrow stairs. All the bedrooms except the one with the trundle bed are upstairs (as well as the washer and dryer). My mother can't do narrow stairs, so she slept on the couch downstairs and my dad took the trundle bed. Other than that, everything was wonderful!!
Thank you for opening your homey home to use for a wonderful week in Maine. We loved the front porch and spent A LOT of time out there, and we loved canoeing in the harbor in the evenings as well. My daughter's favorite spot was her room, which reminded her of her own at home....
Our entire family just returned from a great vacation in Camden, ME and we stayed at this beautiful rental home. The home is spacious and extremely well appointed. We had our 3 grandchildren, ages 4-15, their parents and the two grandparents. Room for everyone. By far our favorite feature was the large wrap around porch. We spent practically every minute were not our exploring on the porch. Morning coffee, sometimes lunch, afternoon wine, after dinner wind down. It is perfect!
The photos that you see on the listing are very accurate and you will not be disappointed. The downtown area is walkable and the nearby beach area as well. I can't recommend this accommodation highly enough. Thanks to Tobias and Christine for offering their lovely home for our family's vacation.
Great location within walking distance of all Canden's charms. Well equipped kitchen with access to inviting front porch and front and backyards. wonderful landscaping, Comfortable bedrooms. Our party of four enjoyed traveling to nearby towns. All in all a great trip.
Our daughter got married on the 4th of July and we rented this house for her new in-laws and extended family to stay in. The house was in the perfect location, close to the YMCA, close to Town Hall (for marriage license), close to the wedding venue (Merryspring Gardens), close to downtown (Cappy's and Fresh's bakeries, French & Brawn for steaks) close to Laite Beach and a little ride away from Primo's for wedding dinner. The porch is the best part of the house - so inviting. My guests even enjoyed "grandfather" coming to mow the lawn. Thank you.
