The islands of Guadeloupe are full of treasures: lush forests, waterfalls and vertiginous falls, heavenly beaches, scenic hiking trails, exceptional wildlife, dream lagoons and much more.
One of its finest treasures is located about 15 km south of the town of Trois-Rivières. We discover a small archipelago that probably holds one of the most beautiful bays in the world: the Saintes.
Lands of fishermen, the Saints are in total 9 islands and islets, only 2 of which are inhabited: Terre-de-Haut and Terre-de-Bas. It is Christopher Columbus who discovered the Saintes, and who baptized them and the Saintois, inhabitants of the archipelago, are mostly from Brittany.
Terre-de-Haut is the most visited and despite its tourist influx, the island has not lost its authenticity and remains very well preserved.
Just landed, you will fall under the charm of the village blending wooden boxes, colorful fishing boats, sugar loaf and wild beaches, peace and joie de vivre.
Terre de Haut does not deserve a simple excursion but a stay!
One day when the other, you will come to the Saintes. That day, you will be amazed!
