About Julia & Claudio, the OWNERS, live full-time in the same Mansion
Since 1994, our Fifth Avenue Mansion has been an oasis for weary travellers visiting bustling and energetic New York City. Owned and operated by an old European family who has chosen to make New York City their home, the premises has not forgotten the Old World refinements of England and France. Located in the mid-70's and Fifth Avenue, The Fifth Avenue Mansion has often been a home-away-from-home to notable members of several Royal Families from a number of European countries. This property is listed by its Owners, a married couple, who live in the premises with their family. Housekeepers and Maintenance Staff also live on premises and are available 12-hours per day, every day. Most matters get attended to within a few minutes. Julia & Claudio do everything to make their guests' overall stay in NY as comfortable and easy as possible. You will find that everyone is very friendly, and very easy to deal with. ☺► CONTACT US DIRECTLY to discuss flexibility with booking options, to select the exact number of days you would like to stay, or specific dates (at times the calendar function does not work properly). Delightful, even comes with song birds!
Stayed in the European Suite. 3rd floor, either elevator or stairs. Expansive living and bedrooms, with open kitchenette that allows communication with those in the living room with ease. I woke up to song birds singing in the courtyard onto which the living room and bedrooms both back up. For the heart of Manhattan, it’s an oasis of serenity. And running n Centrall Park each morning is literally at the end of the block. Hosts Zanettis super accessible for any help or suggestions needed.
Most awasomely stay
For a start the owner of this property is simply amazing.
She is very helpful and accomodating in every sense. She helped us literaly in every way, from organizing private and seamless transport to and from to helpful tips and generosities
Then, the location is to die for in Manhattan and can't get any better
The best is the house itself, the apartments we stayed in were even better than your own house, and the service they give is top class
You would be a fool not staying in this apartment iof you visit New York.
A Jewel on the Upper East Side
The heavy brass and glass front doors are a clear indication of the quality of the building within.
From the marble stairway to the individually coded locks on each door this building represents a beautiful blend of classic elegance and modern technology.
The Terraced Suite apartment itself was immaculate and well appointed.
The high ceilings and tall windows give the room an airy feel. The kitchen is small but well equipped and included specialty coffees for us to enjoy. The bedroom has access to a patio. Unfortunately, you cannot see Central Park (only 1/2 block away) but the outdoor space is a tranquil spot for reading or for a late day cocktail.
But the most charming part of this place is Julia who owns the Mansion and lives there with her family .
She is cheerful, knowledgeable and quite ready to help with any questions or needs. It is clear that she takes her responsibilities seriously and responded to every inquiry quickly and thoroughly.
The subway is only 3 blocks away and we managed to negotiate our way from Harlem to the Bowery with ease. Also, Ana came every day to clean and she is even available to do laundry which was a nice addition.
You may be confident in your security and your comfort here.
Polished cozy in NYC!
An extremely comfortable, well appointed, and spacious luxury apartment with old world charm. Top all of that off with it's PERFECT location, and we feel we've found an ideal place to stay in NYC. The owners were very helpful and kind. During our stay, this suite was a peaceful sanctuary from the liveliness of the big city. We also strolled just across the street to Central Park, and at the same time were only a taxi or uber away from the excitement of mid-town and the theater district. We highly recommend this property, and we look forward to a return visit!
Beautiful architecture, equally attractive hospitality
Julia is simply a “travel whisperer.” She anticipates all of your needs, and makes the sometimes unbearable grind of business travel not just bearable, but a delight. Appointments to the flat were thoughtful and well done. And allows you to feel as if you’re a resident, and not just a passer-through.
Lovely, convenient and clean
Completely satisfied with everything from booking to checkout. Well equipped, comfortable, and close to everything. The hosts are very accommodating and made our stay wonderful. We will definitely be back!
