This spacious two-bedroom villa, located on a beautiful private barrier island in the heart of the Carolina Low Country, offers a rare view across acres of pristine marshland all the way to the breaking waves of the ocean. Wake up to the view of egrets and herons roosting in trees below your private deck, watch dolphins in Captain Sam’s Creek from the airy screened-in porch.
This lovely multi-level villa with covered private parking is so thoughtfully appointed you may never want to leave it – with 2 iPod docking stations, wireless internet, 2 large TVs with Direct TV, 2 DVD players, fully equipped kitchen, and gorgeous sunroom that looks out over the marsh. But you will want to enjoy the lounging deck and community pool, situated to enjoy the marsh views, the crabbing dock and the kayak launching point - all located just steps from the front door.
A few minutes away you will find 3 ½ miles of uncrowded sparkling white beach that the Travel Channel designated one of the top ten beaches in America. Seabrook is a natural wildlife preserve, where you can observe many species in their natural habitat including dolphins, loggerhead turtles, deer, and many species of marsh water fowl.

Seabrook is truly exceptional and our villa is also. It is all about the VIEW of the marsh, kayaking right behind the house in Cap'N Sam's inlet, and one of the best beaches in SC. Only a 3.5 hour drive for us when we have a free weekend or week so very accessible for us.
The View of the marsh and ocean tide in a distance from our sunroom is one of the best on the island. Having the small community pool is great also that is only 300 ft. away.
PROS: This Creek Watch Villa is very nice. True to its description and reviews from other travelers, it does have great views of marsh from sunroom. We watched dolphins feeding in the marsh right outside our window. Furthermore, it is in close walking distance to crabbing dock/ kayak launch area. In addition, the kitchen has been updated and is well stocked. Also, amenity cards are available to purchase through this unit. Finally, the unit did have extra beach chairs, towels, etc. to make trip easier.
CONS: This unit sleeps 4, not 6. The owners/ property company need to change their description or need to purchase sleeper sofas, etc. The unit has 1 queen in the MB and 2 twins in other bedroom. Living room/ sunroom furniture has no sleeper sofas. One of our children had to sleep on sofa during vacation. While not horrible, it truly would have been nice for him to have a bed to sleep in. This is the main reason why I am giving this unit 4 stars.
Other (small) issues. . .(1) the bed/bedding/pillows in master are uncomfortable, (2) the two full bathrooms are somewhat small/ dated, (3) no grill tools/cleaning brush for outside electric grill.
Very nice unit! Loved the amenities so close by - crabbing dock, lake house, etc. Love Seabrook!! Love Creek Watch!
This is the first time we have rented on the island for my parents owned a home on Seabrook until this past spring. I could not have rented a better location! The view is amazing...absolutely love the glass room looking over the marsh! Everything is very comfortable and modern. Love the pool that is just steps from the front door. The entire rental process was very easy and quick. The agent who I spoke with was very prompt and professional. Thanks again...we would love to come back!!!!
I have stayed in this condo about a half a dozen times. The owners are great to work with and really take pride in their home. They have done several upgrades just to make it a more appealing and enjoyable place to stay. It is clean, comfortable and has all the amenities you could need. The view of the marsh and of the ocean in the distance is spectacular. It is great for a family or for a couple. The property sits on the marsh and is just a few minutes bike ride to the beach. Considering this is not on the beach, I don't think you could get a more enjoyable view than this condo offers from its glassed in sun room. I have seen alligators and dolphin in the tidal creek that runs directly below the balcony and sunroom of this villa. Other than the view and the location, the villa is clean and has plenty of towels and linens. The kitchen is well stocked and modern with brand new upgraded appliances and countertops. The carpets and furniture and relatively new and updated. The owners are extremely responsive to any concerns and the payment and reservation process is very easy. This is truly a gem and well worth the money. I have stayed at other properties in Seabrook and having discovered this villa, I will never go anywhere else.
We visited this villa in the Fall. The view off the screen porch is magnificant! Enjoy a glass of wine listening to the soothing sounds of nature at dusk. Wake up to the constantly changing marsh and abundant wildlife. This villa is well equipped and nicely decorated. It is a quick bike ride to the beach or to the quaint village for restuarants and shops. We'll can't wait to go back.
My family are I were able to stay at this unit this past year. It provided the intimacy that we needed to rejuvinate our family spirits and enjoy each other's company, and yet still have the separate spaces and amenities our teen and tween needed to "chillax" away from us parents -- and vice versa. Rooms are very nicely decorated and have the modern conveniences that you would need and want for a home-away-from-home. Freshfields Village is within a short driving distance and offers a variety of shopping and dining. The unit is very well maintained, with plenty of room for personal belongings during the stay. One of the most rewarding benefits while staying in this unit is the beautiful view of the marsh from either floor level. Whether we were drinking coffee and checking email via Wi-Fi, or watching the wildlife and kyakers make their journeys throughout the marsh, there was a show to see every day before we would even begin to travel the island. With so many deer in the area, our younger son even became our official deer-watcher while we ventured our way around Seabrook Island. Must bring a camera, as there is so much wildlife to see and nature's beauty to capture during your stay. If possible, bring or rent bikes or kayaks, as this only would add to the outdoor experience. Beaches are close by, and the walking trails and dunes leading to the ocean are a gorgeous walk. We even saw dolphin a couple of times during the week. We are looking forward to returning to this unit again, as it was truly an escape for our family.
