I am married and have 2 girls and an adorable grandaughter.I was born in Malta and the village of Mellieha is my hometown and have always lived here and would not change Mellieha for the world.

I have been renting holiday properties since I was a teenager as I used to rent my father`s apartments and so have been in this business for a long time and know what holidaymakers are after.

I am a property manager of a number of properties all located in Mellieha.The properties I rent are properties that I beleive in and I am confident that holidaymakers would be very sadisfied staying in.

We will be glad to organise your arrival from the airport , As we always use the same company , which is family run, The taxi services is familiar with this apartment , and we trust them with the keys , The driver will pick you up from the airport and take you straight to the apartment and will see you in. This is a great benefit if your arrival is late at night time. In 1 hour from your arrival you will be enjoying this lovely property. The electricity consumption in this apartment is on a pay meter and 150 units per week is given as credit.If all the credit consumption is used you can buy extra units. A damage deposit of - 300euros is required upon arrival in cash euros and will be refunded back by a bank transfer, after the apartment has been cleaned and checked for any damages.

Spacious and light apartment in lovely block and good pool

Property is well laid out and 10-12 mins walk from beach. Town is 15 minutes up hill and plenty of buses. Apartment could do with some modest repairs and updating - one bedroom has only thin mesh curtains. The other 3 bedrooms have thick black out curtains which are great. Pay extra for electricity which goes quickly with air con on. Lovely location for family holiday wanting limited evening activities. But good local restaurants for local food.

The appartment should provide basics such as several rubbish bags, large glasses drinking glasses, dishwasher tablets. Little things that reduce holiday hassle and improve experience.

A clean, bright and very spacious with great views

We had a great stay in Malta at this lovely apartment. It was really spacious and had lovely views from the multiple balconys! The apartment was clean and well equipped, it had good air con that we used mainly at night. We were an extended family of 9 and the kids really loved the swimming pool that was a good size and wasn't too crowded. We also swam very locally just a short walk from the apartment. We hired cars because we wanted to travel round the island and we did some great snorkelling at Ghar Lapsi on the south of the island and cliff jumping at St Peter's Pool (not really for kids under 8 or those who are not confident swimmers) but don't head there on a Sunday as very crowded. We also ate at the lovely fish restaurants in Marsaxlokk harbour. Mellieha bay has a great sandy beach for little ones and Mellieha town has some great restaurants.

Sparkling view with a sparkling apartmeny

We stayed in the apartment from July 12-19 2018 and had a fabulous time. There was masses of space in the apartment a variety of balconies with superb views across the bay and to the Mediterranean Sea Gozo and beyond when it was dark.

The apartment was so well equipped if you didn’t want to leave hit the supermarket stock up on supplies and you wouldn’t need to go out again.

The shared pool was a god send in the melting heat and was rarely busy so you could have some relaxation time at the side of the pool.

The local amenities are all within walking distance and there are some superb local restaurants and bars or you can hop on the frequent local bus service at a very competitive cost.

Margaret and Sandra manage the place quietly but efficiently and although we had a couple of minor issues they were sorted within no time at all so didn’t detract from our holiday.

Margaret can also recommend some fabulous local restaurants, we had 4 amazing meals catering for all taste buds with the local produce some of the best we have ever tasted.

Gino’s taxi service again recommended by Margaret n3ver let us down and we used him frequently as most of my party weren’t able to walk far and he was most helpful and can get you a mention and song request on the local radio station.

Finally if you haven’t tasted Maltese or wine from Gozo, take my word for it it’s lovely and on a par with the more expensive imported wines from other more well known countries and I drink a lot of wine so I think I know my grapes.

You will have a ball here so book up soon we would certainly go back again.

Great location, very spacious, and wonderful views

We were in Mellieha for a week visiting family and touring the sites. The apartment is in a great location close to shops and walking distance to the restaurants. Margaret and Sandra were very helpful and effecient with our enquiries. The basic staples in the fridge on arrival were very much appreciated. We would highly recommend this property.

The front balcony offers views of a sunrise in the morning and sunset in the evening! Incredible!

Our communication with Margaret, the apartment manager, was always prompt and informative. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a 17 day stay. It was kind of them to provide us with some bottled water, juice and coffee upon our arrival. The apartment is located in a gated community and was a great size for our party of 9 (my 11 year old slept on a roll away bed). The pool was well maintained and everything in the apartment was operational. Beds were comfortable and AC worked great. We only kept the AC on at night because there was a great breeze during the day. There were about five nights we kept the door walls open and did not have to use the AC. The bus stops, restaurants and Luna Market were about a 10 minute casual walk from the apartment...there are some hills in the area which we appreciated considering the amount of eating we did. Maltese cuisine is wonderful! The beach was about a 15 minute casual walk. We loved our stay and would select Tas Sellum Residence in the future.

More than worth of your money

The apartment was much more spacious and lovely than the photos indicated. The views from the living room and the kitchen towards the sea were astonishing. The rooms were big enough and furnished nicely. Only minus in the apartment was that the water pressure was quite poor and the ensuite didn't have a shower curtain or a wall.

Mellieha Bay, Malta`s longest sandy beach is a 5 mins walk away from this apartment.This beach has clean shallow water and is ideal for small children.There are many water sports facilities and numerous beach bars.

Other nearby beaches are – Golden Sands, Paradise Bay, Little Armier and Gnejna Bay, which are all a few mins drive away or a short bus ride.One can spend a beautiful day enjoying these beaches.

Mellieha Village is 1km away from this apartment and is one of Malta`s most picturesque tourist destinations.The village centre boasts with fine reataurants and traditional cute shops.

A majestic baroque church built in the 19th century dominates the village core.
