My name is Claudia, I have two beautiful princesses Stefania (7 years) and Carolina (3 years) and I have been happily married for eleven years believe it or not. I'm also an entrepreneur and a Property Manager. One of my passions in life has always been making people feel like home whether is in a few Restaurants that I have owned or properties that I have managed. Food is another of my favorite things in life, I love to cook, eat and try dishes from different countries. To me, food is a way to learn from other cultures. Visit restaurants in NY is one of the best experiences which my husband and I enjoy a lot. I love taking my girls to festivals, movies and Sunday outdoor family days.

To move around with public transportation
From New Jersey to NYC:
Bus stops are located at 17th St and 19th St at Kennedy Boulevard (Across the Street).
There are two lines buses that will take you to Time Square 42nd St. /8th Av.
125 NJ Transit bus. Bus run by schedhttps://admin.vrbo.com/lm/321.1585502.2146779/loc.htmlule, fare $3.50 per person, also you can purchase group tickets at the terminal (10 tickets for $29.50), choose Bus 125 route 2. Be aware that if you catch the bus on the street you can also pay with cash but exact amount (machine doesn’t give change). If you take the bus at the terminal, tickets are required.
There is an app “Transit” that will help you to check the time buses will pass from the near bus stop you are located.
Bus 125 is available from 6am to Midnight. Overnight only Jitney buses are available to NJ.
Private jitney buses Line 51, locally known as “The Wawas”, fare $3.25 per person, also you can purchase group tickets inside the terminal. There is a window located on the first floor (front of Jamba Juice), window is open to sell group tickets from Monday to Friday (2pm to 6pm only). After midnight Jitney buses are located outside the Port Authority.
Jitneys will drop you at 31st St and Palisade Ave. From there you can take an Uber or local Taxi ($6 dollars).
From NYC to New Jersey:
Take buses to go back from NYC at Port Authority Bus terminal (42nd and 8th Avenue).
125 Bus, Gate depends of the time, check Bus Schedule at www.njtransit.com. If you come back before 10pm take the bus at Gate 214, after 10pm to midnight at Gate 303.
For jitney buses Line 51, go to Gate 51 (make sure buses go to Journal Square). After midnight, Jitney buses are located outside the terminal (Corner of 42nd and 8th St.).
Your final stop in NJ is at 17th Street and Kennedy Boulevard, right in front of the building complex.
Also, there is the option to take Yellow Taxis or Uber, I really recommend Uber instead, better prices and convenient if you go to the Airport with lots of luggage.
If you decide to drive, be aware that every time you cross the Lincoln Tunnel, it’s a $15-dollar Toll to NYC. Besides, parking in Manhattan is difficult from 8am to 7pm. Private parking is available for an average of $50 dollars per day.
If your flight is at Newark Airport (EWR), commute is about 20 minutes by car. To John F. Kennedy Airport or La Guardia (JFK – LGA), takes about 1 hour up to 1 hour and a half, since traffic in NYC is heavy sometimes.
