We are widely travelled, and much prefer the comfort of staying in an apartment on holiday as opposed to the usually sterile atmosphere of a hotel. We love that there is always a lot more space than a shoebox room. When we rent an apartment ourselves, we expect a clean and functioning apartment with all the amenities we need for an extended stay. A helpful and friendly host who provides lots of information about the city/area is very welcome and we strive to provide this for guests who stay with us!
This is a quiet area, but very close to the best boutiques and shops in the city including Galeries Lafayette, as well as restaurants in the area. Be sure to drop by the rooftop terrace of the Galeries Lafayette, have a drink or a meal at La Porte des Indes. If you would like to spend an evening at the ballet or the opera at the magnificient Opera Garnier, you are lucky to have this right on your doorstep.
It's also an easy walk to the Louvre, and the Tuileries gardens, where you will again pass several boutiques and classic Parisian Haussman buildings.
Lofts are one of our favourite types of apartments to stay in when we travel as it feels so open and luminous. We added all the amenities we really appreciated having in our rentals: dishwasher, washer, dryer, cable TV, and of course, high-speed wireless internet. Should you just be a party of 4, you have the added bonus of 2 different living areas - our favourite is spending some quiet time in the loft area reading a book.
The large open kitchen that leads into the dining has always made for memorable evenings entertaining with family and friends.
This is the second time that we have stayed in the Opera Victoire I - B5 and we will certainly stay there again. The apartment is extremely well situated - we can walk almost anywhere from it plus there are two Metro stations within a couple of blocks. Local food shopping (rue des Martyres) is excellent.
The apartment itself is bright, light and clean. We like the large dining table, the wireless access and the showers. As we both cook the kitchen works well, we appreciate the large fridge.
Another bonus is that the apartment is very quiet - a delightful oasis in the heart of Paris.
We recommend this apartment for others who want a comfortable home while in Paris.
Clean and roomy, and the building has an elevator which is rather rare in Paris. Everything was tailored to make you feel at home, from living room, to kitchen, to bathrooms. There was nothing else we could have asked for. Our teenage sons slept in two separate beds in one of the bedrooms, and us in the master bedroom. This apartment is in a very vibrant area filled with restaurants, cafes, boutiques, and two metro stations nearby. Galeries LaFayette and the Opera Garnier area very close by, also. The greeter and rest of the Welcome2france staff was very charming and accommodating of all our requests. Will be coming back!
Nice apartment! This apartment is spacious and bright with large volume. My friends and I really enjoyed it during our stay. The location is also perfect. There are tons of nice cafes, bakeries, supermarkets, restaurants and just all around the corner. I will recommend this location to any of my friends.
Our family had a great time in this apartment. Two teenage daughters slept in twin beds, and my husband and I slept on the really comfy and large queen bed. Kitchen has everything you would need. The apartment is very close to large supermarkets, fresh grocery shops, boutique shops, and restaurants. Very quiet area located off a busy street. There are 3 metro stops close to apartment whch are so convenient for getting around. The apartment is very near to the Opera and the big french department store Lafayette. Just wish we would had more time to explore.
Thank you welcome2france you provided great service throughout and helped make our stay very pleasant and comfortable.
The apartment was perfect for the four of us and provided a great Base for our tours of Paris.
I would highly recommend it to all.
We enjoyed our six night stay in this apartment. It was very comfortable for a family of four. We loved the location and would definitely stay here again. I would recommend this apartment to a friend.
The apartment was clean, comfortable and attractive. The 3 adults and 2 children
had ample space and the beds were good, including the loft bed where I slept.
One of the best features was its location on a quiet street. Very close to the Metro,
shops for food and restaurants. Our greeter Sam was on time and delightful. My
email correspondences to Alicia, the manager of Welcome2France, were answered
promptly. We had no major issues and would recommend this apartment and
location to anyone.
A diverse residential area popular among an artistic crowd, with a mix of residential and business buildings.
Live like a native Parisian thanks to the many shops and the famous market street "rue des Martyrs" - its a haven of frommageries, boucheries, boulangeries and fresh fruit stalls. On the same street are also well known bars and restaurants.
It is also walking distance from the main tourist sites such as Opera, Louvre, Tuileries, Montmartre, Galeries Lafayette. If you don't feel walking, 5 different metro stops are within 5 minutes' walk from the apartment.
