Efficiency Apartment with luxury amenities
- english, german
My husband and I are Chattanooga transplants - me, a "Yankee" from upstate NY and my husband from Germany. We now consider ourselves Chattanooga natives, as I have lived here for 20 years and my husband for nearly 10. Neither of us do well sitting still. We are both incredibly active people and we especially look forward to catering to fellow outdoor enthusiasts or traveling athletes, as we have many tips and suggestions for getting what you need for your activity and figuring out how best to get to your activity/event. In town for rowing, running or triathlon? We certainly have you covered there!
Megan purchased this Studio in 2014
Why Megan chose Northside
North Chattanooga has it all and still remains quaint and cool. Walk 5 minutes to the "local's" restaurants and bars. Walk a few more minutes and come to the main attractions to the North Shore - the walking bridge, the locally built Coolidge Park Carousel and fountains and Clumpy's Ice Cream shop and Julie Darling Donuts. Cross over the bridges and you are right at the TN Aquariums and the Hunter Museum and Art District. Go the other way up the hill and you find yourselves at Stringer's Ridge, which offers miles of hiking and mountain biking right in the heart of North Chattanooga. Pretty darn cool if you ask us. That's why we live here, after all...

Clean, Comfortable, Convenient
This property is a great quality for a terrific price. It is quiet, clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. The owner communicated quickly. If I am ever back in Chattanooga, I sure hope this property is available for my stay.
Great cozy stay and good location!
We really enjoyed our stay in Chattanooga and Megan was a fantastic host! She was available if we needed her and she's even a great baker (we know this because she brought us fresh cupcakes :))!
We very much enjoyed our stay however, unless you are one of those very athletic types it is quite a trek to downtown, dog park, etc.. plan on driving or bring a bike. If we were to stay again we would definitely bring our bikes.
We brought our standard poodle Missy and she enjoyed her trips to the dog park. There is also another park more in the downtown area which is really cool with pools for splashing, tunnels to explore, fountains and plenty of places for the adults to chill but bring your dog’s shot records for entry.
The studio is small but comfortable, the bathroom is beautifully updated and the apartment is close to everything. Meghan was very easy to communicate with even while she was out of town. We like to bring our dog whenever possible so we were thrilled this place is pet friendly. Having said that, there were absolutely no pet orders or hair. Clean as a whistle. We in turn respect our hosts when we travel so we always bring a clean blanket for the couch and a large rug for Missy to lay on.
We would have liked a couple more towels for our stay but over all we were pleased with and would definitely recommend to friends and if the need arsose book this studio again. Thank you Meghan. Keith and Deborah
Like a boutique hotel with member rewards!
The property description and photos were accurate. The owner was out of town, but she still made us feel welcome. She left chocolate, drinks in the fridge, and gluten free crackers (because I asked for gf restaurant recommendations). We only stayed 2 nights/1 full day, so we parked our car when we arrived and didn't use it again until we left town. EXCELLENT location in an area with no hotels. I highly recommend this for a couple or small family looking to explore the Northshore neighborhood or even the downtown water front attractions. And definitely check out Stringer's Ridge while you're here. It's not rigorous, but it has a great view.
Great place and location
Megan was so helpful throughout my stay and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend. Beautifully decorated, space has everything you need, and very close to downtown.
Just What We Needed
This sweet little nugget proved perfect for our needs. Clean, modern, quiet with easy private access. Host is friendly and communicative. Thank you!
