We have owned (and managed) our Orange Beach Get-Away since 2002. We love it and we think you will too! Our calendar is always current and we are happy to answer any questions via phone or email.

Reservation and entry is completely electronic! You can book online. Prior to check-in, we will email you the electronic condo access code, parking pass, and welcome information which includes the wireless internet code. All you have to do is let yourself in! We only rent Saturday to Saturday in peak seasons and we do not allow smoking or pets (ever - even on the balcony). Renters must be 25+ years of age - we do not rent to groups of students.

Our Unit:

Offers breathtaking, direct gulf front views! Located on the eighth floor, you can see forever! Decor and furnishings are upscale yet comfortable. You'll feel as if this is your 'home away from home'. You can walk onto your balcony from the living room or master bedroom. Enjoy coffee in the mornings from the kitchen table while you watch the dolphins swim by on their breakfast run. After the kids are in bed, you can relax on the balcony and enjoy a little star-gazing. When the time comes, you won't want to leave!

KING Bedroom: Direct ocean view with balcony and separate bathroom. Cable TV.

TWIN Bedroom: Equipped with two twin beds and Cable TV and DVD player.

THIRD Bedroom: One twin bed, one twin top bunk and double futon/couch below. Equipped with Cable TV and VCR/DVD player. Great room for kids!

LIVING AREA: Equipped with a Flat Screen TV, cable TV, and DVD player. The living area is tastefully decorated and geared for comfort. It is the happening place to be, whether for quietly watching the sunrise, reading a book with a hot cup of coffee, for an afternoon nap or for a night of movies, games or both.

KITCHEN: The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need to prepare meals and beverages! However, you may choose to 'keep the kitchen clean' and eat out at the fine area restaurants. It's up to you!

LAUNDRY AREA: The area is equipped with drying rack, basket and full size washer and dryer.

ACTIVITIES (on-site or nearby): USS Alabama and Historical Homes, Naval Air Museum and Blue Angels, Bellingrath Gardens, Historic Fort Morgan, Golf Courses Galore, Three Amusement Parks, Biking, Miniature Golf, Fishing, Shopping, Huge Outlet Mall, Cinemas (stadium seating), Snorkeling, Diving, Parasailing, Dolphin Cruises, Wonderful Local Library with Free Computer and Internet Access, Great Restaurants, and then there's plain old SAND, SUN and FUN! Steve & I have owned and rented our Romar Place unit since 2002. We live in the Nashville, Tennessee area since 1995 and decided the gulf coast is the perfect place for our family to return year after year. We love the white sand, family friendly beach, and great shopping & restaurants (all in close proximity but not too close). We enjoy renting by owner and will do everything we can to ensure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. Give us a call!

We chose Romar Place because we liked the size of our complex. With only 66 units, the pools, beach and workout facilites are always less crowded. We love the beautiful view of the sunrise as well as the soothing sound of the ocean from our balcony. We also enjoy seeing only ocean from our kitchen table. We can't wait to come back year after year and hope you will too.

What makes this condo unique

Orange Beach is a fantastic beach community and our condo is well situated in relation to Gulf Shores State Park, movie theatres, shopping, outlet malls, amusement parks, putt putt golf, great restaurants, community services and the public library. It is a fantastic location - close enough to everything to be convenient but far enough away to be quiet!

Great! Exactly as advertised. Perfect for my family of six.

This condo was perfect. Well stocked with all the essentials and comfortable. The corner balcony was spacious and allowed beautiful views. Beach and pool access could not have been easier. We were not there in peak of summer but in mid May. Parking, elevator, everything was so easy. We had the pool to ourselves and felt like we were the only ones there. So much privacy. No more high rises for us. The beach was clean and family friendly. We had never visited Orange Beach before but the next vacation we can take we will return and hopefully be able to book this condo. Just a nice, relaxing, hassle free place to stay.

It is our goal to keep our home-away-from-home comfortably and cheerfully furnished and updated along with a well stocked kitchen for those who want to cook which on vacation. Because it is a low density complex, even when fully occupied during the summer, there are still fewer people to share the pool and beach area with than at other larger complexes. Orange Beach is a fantastic vacation spot and we are partial to Romar Place 802! We hope you will be able to return soon!

Beautiful View and Condo

We loved this condo, very cheerful, and inviting. Beautiful view, and easy access to the pools and the beach. Very quite, and relaxing place. Only issue we ran into was one night we came back from Adventure Island and there was no place to park. When I advised someone in the office, it was not security, assuming it was building management, I was told to park across the street. I voiced my concerns with parking across the street. If I am paying to stay at that condo, I will be parking there. When my husband was driving off to park across the street, I was waiting in the front for him, when security approached me, and stated that he would move his truck so that we could park in the parking lot. Overall, we had a great time at this condo, and Orange Beach, AL. We plan to visit again in the future.

Owner's Response: We agree - we love our condo and Romar Place! Our low density complex provides for less crowded and congested pools, pool deck and beach which also translates into less noice. We do have a wonderful security staff. I am glad security offered to move his/her vehicle so that you did not have to park across the street. However, during peak season parking can be a problem if any renter violates the two vehicle maximum. We hope you will come back and visit us again soon!

Very nice view and great location!!!

We had an amazing view! The complex was in a really great location. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back again. We have 3 kids ranging from 8-2, so the proximity to the beach was excellent for us.

The reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was simply because the cleaning crew didn't do a great job. As soon as we arrived, I had to re sweep the floors. There was sand in 2 of the bedroom's sheets when we turned down the covers the first night, and we had to rewash the dishes (fault of previous guests, but should have been checked).

Overall, we had an enjoyable time and would come back.

We also agree our condo has great proximity to the beach and are glad you would come back again. We are sorry you were disappointed with our cleaning service. However, we are also sorry you did not let us know of your concerns upon your arrival or at any point during your stay. Our welcome letter encourages our renters to let us know immediately if there are any concerns. If you had notified us of your concerns, we would have promptly had our cleaning service send someone out to address matters immediately! The summer season is extremely busy for all cleaning services but our cleaning service's goal is to provide excellent service and the owner would have remedied the concerns immediately. It is also our goal to ensure our customer's satisfaction but we cannot address concerns if we are not made aware of the concerns. Nevertheless, we will pass your concerns on to our cleaning service to ensure excellent service in the future.

ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING AND NO PETS! There is a fine for violations deducted from damage deposit.
FAMILIES/ADULTS 25+ YEARS OF AGE. We require copy of driver's license for age verification.
WEEKLY RENTALS: SATURDAY - SATURDAY. We do not make exceptions to this policy in the peak seasons.

ORANGE BEACH RULES & REGULATIONS
Familiarize yourself with the beach usage rules and regulations before your visit and make arrangements to have a fun and responsible vacation on Alabama’s pristine beaches.

A few of the rules to note include:

Any structures or equipment left on the beach an hour after sunset will be removed and disposed of by beach patrol (except for permitted beach services). This includes tents, chairs and other beach gear.
Dispose of trash properly. Put recyclable items in the blue recycling cans located at the ends of public boardwalks.
Avoid walking on vegetation, as plant roots hold the dune system together.
As a reminder, the following are not allowed on the beaches of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach:

Glass containers
Fireworks
Metal shovels or excessive digging
Loud music
Litter
Fires
Tents or structures larger than 10′ X 10′
Pets
Overnight camping
Vehicles

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
