average rating of 4.0 based on 5 reviews

The unit was nice and clean which makes you feel right at home.

  • 4 of 5

The view outside of the unit is a beautiful scene of a grassy yard and a hill with lots of aspen trees that sway in the breeze. Was wonderful to see and hear wild life such as deer and song birds while being close to everything in Vail, Co. Beautiful pool area and walking trails through complex. Our family was able to make several meals together due to well stocked kitchen with appliances and cookware.

Not comfortable. Appliances, electric need updating.

  • 2 of 5

Small place. Cute. Not comfortable. Hard to get to with luggage. Walks not shoveled. Appliances don't work well. Electricity shorts out. Heat not regulated in bedrooms. Poor luggage, clothes storage. Needs redecorating except for nice updated bathrooms. Family room only comfortably seats 3 persons. Dog was there if u have allergies. Owner did not offer a discount for inconveniences.

Owner's Response: Owner Response: We appreciate guest feedback and as long term VRBO owners, we strive to provide an excellent mountain experience at a good value. With this we’d like to respond to this review with our own comments: Walks in the complex are shoveled shortly after it snows. Note: Vail had an excellent December 2016/January 2017 for snowfall with the snow pack at over 150% of normal (it dumped). All appliances in the unit work well, the refrigerator had a broken shelf which was removed. Electricity/circuit breaker will occasionally trip with excessive hairdryer use (only). The heat is checked regularly and is regulated by two thermostats. For clothes storage, each bedroom has a large closet and other options (dressers /night stands). The unit is pet friendly and clean. Feel free to contact the owner with any questions about this property in advance of making your reservation. Thank you!

Excellent Stay - Strongly Recommend

  • 5 of 5

I am a native New Yorker traveling with my fiancé from Austin, TX for a romantic ski getaway. First time in Vail, absolutely loved it. The entire area is great and the condo is very accommodating and close to everything (shops, stores and slopes). The place was comfortable, cozy and warm. Ideal for those that will be out and about all day and who don't need much entertainment at night (ex TV).

Some things to point out.

* Be careful of cooking in the kitchen. No vent equals smokey kitchen.

* I typically bring my own tioleltries but sometimes depend on the venue having shampoo etc. Bring your own toiletries, shampoo & conditioner etc.

All in all, super trip. I will come back and hopefully stay in the same place.

Thank you.

Fabulous Home Away from Home!

  • 5 of 5

My family (2 adults, 1 teenage boy) stayed here to ski at Vail over President's Day weekend. We arrived in the dark, in the middle of a raging snowstorm, and entering the unit felt like arriving home . . . cozy, warm and inviting. The property is wonderful. The beds are very comfy (warm down comforters!) for a good night's sleep, and the kitchen is well-equipped so we could make hearty breakfasts in the morning before heading out to the hill as well as complete dinners in the evenings. (The grocery stores, Safeway and City Market, are only about 5 minutes away.) There is a jacuzzi tub in the guest bathroom - both bathrooms are recently updated - to soak after a long day of skiing.

The property has a good-sized deck (with a gas grill) that was too snow covered for us to use on this trip, but we plan to go back in the summer and test it out. There are no neighbors behind, so it looks out into the woods; it is quite lovely.

We intend to return to the property -- our new favorite in the Vail area -- and would definitely recommend it to anyone with 1 - 2 kids. You could probably bring 3 kids if 2 of them will sleep together on the Queen bed in the second bedroom; there is a pull out sofa in the living room. I would note that there are quite a few stairs necessary to reach the property, so I would probably caution folks with significant mobility issues.
