Come in and enjoy our fabulous three bedroom, three full bath, Gulf front pet friendly penthouse! Our unit has a very open and spacious floor-plan, with floor to ceiling glass, 9’ ceilings, state of the art kitchen with granite counter tops, master suite with a separate glass shower and a whirlpool tub overlooking the Gulf. We have an over sized, circular balcony where you can enjoy the salty breezes and the spectacular view of the Gulf.

The master and second bedroom both have king beds and the third bedroom has 2 queens. There are TVs in each bedroom.

Beach Colony Resort consists of three towers secured by electronic gates. It is a very upscale condominium with coded elevators for added privacy, 3 pools, clay tennis courts, an outdoor hot-tub and over 11 acres on the Beach! We are conveniently located on the East end of Perdido Key between Gulf Shores/Orange Beach and Pensacola. Restaurants, the Naval Museum, golf courses and shopping are just minutes away. Yet, we feel like we are removed from the hustle and bustle of other resort areas. Perdido is a quaint, sleepy, lovely resort community.

This condo was very comfortable. We lost a few days due to severe storms, but we're still able to enjoy our time indoors playing board games and watching movies. The condo was spacious. My only complaint is that there was no covering of any kind on the master bathroom window, directly above the tub. The window is not tinted, and from the beach you are in full view as you step in and out of the tub.

The staff of Key Concepts as well as maintenance employees at Beach Colony were all very helpful & friendly. The Unit itself (18A West) needs attention, for example: The entire unit could really use a deep cleaning; the baseboards were not clean; there was stuff under the beds; there were NO hangers in any of the 3 closets; the "false fronts" on the kitchen cabinets were about to fall off; several floor tiles were broken; there were cushions missing from the balcony furniture; the crispers in the fridge were broken & taped together; the cookery & containers in kitchen cabinets need replenishing ( we had only 1 dishtowel); some bedroom dressers/cabinets were missing knobs. Just in general disrepair. In addition it would be helpful to be told in advance of booking if there will be any "routine" maintenance scheduled that would interfere with full enjoyment of the unit, such as: balcony maintenance that denied access to the balcony for 5 days, and then again for the final 3 days of the stay! (We did receive a small refund for our inconvenience, which was nice..but having a balcony on the 18th floor is a big part of the experience). The "heated" indoor pool was cold, and the hot tub was pretty nasty from all the young children allowed to use it. I don't know what the policy is, but in my opinion, the hot tub should be adults-only. All that said, the location, beachfront, and general ambiance of Beach Colony in general was really, really good & all employees were super nice. Sunsets & sunrises were spectacular. Being pet-friendly was a nice perk. This unit just needs lot of love & refurbishing!

The best part was pet friendly!!

It's been a few months since our stay. We choose this unit because it was pet friendly. The layout was nice, furnishings were nice. The kitchen pots & pans were pretty nasty. The place was dirty and the sheets were threadbare. However, our biggest complaint was the fact that if you were in the master shower, anyone on the balcony could see you. So every time we took a shower, we had to ask the 4 teen boys and 3 20 year old girls to stay off of the balcony. The beach staff were nice. The elevators REALLY need to have AC. We stayed the week before the 4th and were only allowed to park 2 cars on the property. The 3rd car had to be parked down the street. We are purchasing a condo in Perdido and we are NOT looking at the Beach Colony after our stay. From our balcony, I bet we could look straight into at least 20 to 30 other condos. Absolutely no privacy!!
