About this property

Our house is a Dar (small Riad), it is for rent in exclusivity!
You will enjoy independence and total privacy.

Ideally located in the Ben Saleh district, Derb El Kebir.
It is located 5 minutes walk from the famous Jemaa el Fna, it will bring you near the souks while being in a very quiet alley.

The decoration is in the Moroccan style of Marrakech, each furniture and objects come directly from the artisans of the souks.

It consists on the ground floor of an entrance hall.

On the first floor you will find 1 first interior patio, serving 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom / wc in tadelakt.

On the second floor, a second patio giving access to the terrace, as well as a Moroccan lounge / dining room and a fitted kitchen.

Finally the terrace with umbrella, table and stools is also equipped with deckchairs. You can enjoy the view of the Atlas, on the roofs of the Medina and Koutoubia.

Upon your arrival, Zahra will welcome you to introduce you to the Dar and give you the keys. You can ask him to prepare excellent breakfasts (5 € on request), and succulent traditional meals: Couscous, tajines ... (12 € on request).

Our partner Abdou, can also offer a variety of excursions from Marrakech.
When booking and upon request, you can book a private shuttle to drop you at Dar from the airport: Shuttle rate: one way 20 € / round trip 40 €

Wonderful experience

This is an authentic berber house, so you are living next door to native Moroccons. It is situated in the Medina and is a short walk to everything you would want to see in Marrakech. Youssef looked after us amazingly well and is a real star. The cooking was great! and the interactions and recommendations about places to visit and restaurants.

Au coeur de la Médina

Le Dar est décoré avec gout, en plein coeur de la médina, à quelques pas de la place Djamaa el FNa ... Acceuillis par Abdou et Zarha, le séjour ne peut que bien se derouler. Abdou est de bons conseils pour les visites durant la semaine. Zarha quant à elle, est le joyau de l'endroit ! discrete, souriante et attentionnée, elle fait de votre séjour au Dar un moment inoubliable. Les proprietaires ont été à l'écoute et reactifs dès la réservation et jusqu'à notre retour. Nous recommandons ce joli Dar avec la belle petite equipe qui le fait vivre.

Fremragende

Alting var som forventet og mere til. Vi havde dejlig varme i stuen om aftenen. Spændende beliggenhed i Medinaen. Sarah lavede mad til os et par gange, og det nød vi. Corinne og Gerard gjorde alt, hvad de kunne for at vi skulle føle os velkomne og trygge. Chr. havde glemt kørekort og betalingskort i safeboksen. Men kort efter vi havde forladt huset, indhentede Yusuf os og afleverede det hele. Det er vi den unge mand meget taknemmelig for.

A property with character

This property has a lot of character as it is set in an alley in the very heart of the Old Town, close to the souks. It was lovely to have a roof garden to look out over the rooftops.
