Very nice place to stay! Felt like 2nd home. Beautiful views! Beautiful beach! Very close to the beach. We walked and collected shells every day! Clay is the best owner!

Loved It

Saw the negative review and just had to have input. We stayed here for 2 weeks in April 2016. The construction (balcony repairs) had started on other sides of the building so we weren't impacted. Information we heard was that the city had unexpectedly delayed the repairs letting the building owners know at the last minute. Our stay was fantastic. Beautiful unit, comfortable, ideal location overlooking the beach and high enough that there was no noise (other than waves). Would go back in a minute. Clay was great to deal with. Would have given it 5 stars if it had in-room wifi.

Construction noise unbearable

This unit was comfortable and in a great location. However, the owner failed to let us know that they would be working on removing the balconies on our building. We had constant jackhammer noise for 8 hours/day for 3-4 days. We could not sit on the balcony or even stay in the unit because the noise was so loud. If we had known this beforehand, we would not have rented this property. I emailed the owner about the noise and he completely ignored my emails - not even an apology. The bathroom was also not user friendly for a short person. The sink is set very high and the lighting is dim so it was very difficult to see in the mirror to put on makeup. I would rent at this location again but definitely not from this owner and not before asking more questions about what would be going on during the week we were there.

Date: Wed, 27 Apr 2016 10:13:11 -0400 Subject: Re: Inquiry from Gail Borgerding: Apr 23 through 30 - #167091 From: To: Hi Gail, our condo board sprung this on us at the last minute and the rail removal(jack hammering) was to be done 2 weeks ago before you arrived. Would you like to move to another unit or get a $200 refund. I am told the last rails come off today. CONSTRUCTION COMPLETED
