Guestbook comments from the manager

Just wanted to let you know that we enjoyed our stay at Nestled In Time. Time went way too fast, but it was very comfortable and relaxing. Especially enjoyed being only a couple blocks away from the water's edge and a great view of some gorgeous sunsets. Thank you for providing a clean, comfortable, and well-equipped house. Our two black labs seemed to enjoy the accommodations as well!

Family reunion

  • 5 of 5

We stayed 5 days in November 2017 in Cedar Key at spaces home 734 6th street.

Jenny Pinto made a reservation and everything was just fine: clean, comfortable beds, central air, all appliences were in good shape and clean. Very convinient location. Hope will have a chance to repeat.

Special thanks to Jenny Pinto, Yulian and Raisa.

Owner's Response: Yulian and Raisa-Thank YOU! I love when guests are happy. The house is quite spacious, lots of open space for a 1/1 house. I love the room in the kitchen, large enough for everyone to be involved. Being centrally located to town, but just far enough "away" for privacy is nice. The walk up the hill for sunsets, just two blocks, is nice. The pocket park on Goose Cove makes a great setting to say Au Revoir to the day. Hurry back, we loved having you!

Great little place to get away and relax.

  • 4 of 5

Lovely little 1 bedroom cottage with all the comforts of home. We needed a place to get away and just have a relaxing weekend & Nestled in Time was perfect. It was close enough to walk everywhere we wanted to go. We stopped in the market & picked ups few things, then once we were settled in took a stroll down to the pier. We both love to cook so we went back to the cottage, cooked a nice meal and then just kicked back & relaxed the rest of the evening. It has a great little screened back porch with a little table w/candles, you can fix a drink and enjoy the peace & quite. The king bed was really comfortable. I love it had ceiling fans in every room. Will definitely come again.

The only thing is, I will bring my own pans and a really good knife next time. It has pots/pans and utensils but the pans are quite worn and none of the knives were really sharp enough. I'm going to bring a crockpot next time to, throw in your fixings, set it & forget it. Go and enjoy the day.

Owner's Response: Cynthia: Thank you for the constructive criticism; I have be in contact with the owners and we are addressing your concerns. I've just ordered new pots and pans, all stainless, three ply. As to knives, I'm in complete agreement with you, but am loathe to spend the money for the knives you and I would wish-yes, I'm a foodie too! I'll have a crock pot in there before week's end, so most of it will be fixed, I just don't know about putting Wustehoffs in the house.

Cedar Key Never Disappoints

  • 4 of 5

We stayed 3 nights, it rained and a pizza guy confused pepperoni with pineapple on my calzone BUT the house was great and made it all better.

The place is a quick walk from Annies and close enough to everything else that walking anywhere in town isn't a problem.

The place was neat, clean and comfortable and as usual Jennie was easy to work with(we pretty much rent her properties each time we go). I'd suggest a larger tv for the main room but that's minor stuff...we had a great time.

Go and enjoy it.

Owner's Response: Paige: Sorry about the weather, I talked to the rainmakers and begged them to hold off, but.... Happy you are happy with the house. It is a great spot, as "they" say "Location, Location, Location!" An easy walk anywhere in town, and breakfast or lunch at Annie's is a great way to start the day. See you soon!

At last, peace and quiet.

The unit was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Very quiet street in a quiet community. Close to everything. If you want a recharge, this is the downtime area. Unplug and enjoy. Brian S.
