About Annalisa & Daniela
Views on Venice was founded in the late 1990's when the concept of short term apartment rentals was in its infancy and rarely considered an option by most visitors to the city. As a ‘thirty-something' Venetian excited by the new business and communication opportunities offered by the internet, I decided to link up with a close childhood friend in creating a partnership which, at the time, was a novelty in Venice. The idea we had in mind was to approach the traditional management of my family's apartments from an entirely different angle, while at the same time resisting the attentions of those wanting to transform my family's palazzo into a prestigious hotel. Our aim was to offer these apartments, as well as those of friends, for rental to an international clientele who'd take pleasure in the comfort, freedom and authenticity of ‘living at home as a Venetian' rather than merely observing the city from the confines of an anonymous hotel room or suite. The common denominator then, as now, was to offer ‘something extra' amidst an already extraordinary city - an added dimension which turns a ‘stay' into an ‘experience' and a 'dream' into 'reality'...
Extremely responsive and attentive team at the Views on Venice made this stay a remarkably enjoyable experience.
Fantastic place in a fantastic locale!!
Ca' Della Bottega was an amazing place to stay! We felt very lucky in that the place was beautiful, had great space, and was in a fabulous campo. It was a privilege to be able to live amongst the locals, while sitting out in the campo enjoying an aperol spritz. We hope to return soon!
A delicious and satisfying mix of all the best ingredients! sleeping up to six and highly recommended to guests seeking a stylish and very comfortable address in one of the most popular and sought-after areas of Venice, where local residents and students from the university meet for a spritz and to catch up on news and where cafes, eateries, bars and gelaterie all join together in creating a wonderful and very local Venetian atmosphere.
Close to a Punto supermarket for easy self-catering and moments to a Vino Sfuso (wine on tap) shop at Campo Carmini, a nearby fresh fish stall just across the way (Tues-Sat a.m. only) and the fruit and vegetable boat moored at San Barnaba.
Also within easy reach of Piazzale Roma on foot if travelling light.
