Why Carolyn Marlow chose Junction
I love Central London, its international community and the huge cultural diversity it offers; great food, mind-blowing markets, performance art, exhibitions - its cutting edge modernity and historic legacy. Wimbolden Tennis, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspurs Football Clubs, Lords Cricket - world class sports! We host some of the world's most amazing festivals of food, dance, music, art and performance. London is one of the greatest cities on earth! And it's all on our doorstep!!! And at the end of a thrilling day, having lived in this quiet family neighbourhood all my adult life, I know importance of a quiet moment to relax, kick back and recharge my batteries. I need quiet and space in plenty to do this. Our gorgeous Victorian Villa, its lovely garden and nearby parks is the perfect antidote! This house is brimming with period charm, extensive space to stretch out, easy parking and extraordinary quiet. Our peaceful walled garden invites you to enjoy a glass of wine and dinner one evening, or fresh croissants and morning coffee - here is a perfect oasis of calm at the end or start of your day!

As a family of 5 nice, affordable London accommodations are not easy to find but we did here. The basement apartment was a nice place to come back to after all of our sightseeing. So easy to get to, the whole family knew exactly where to go to get back from anywhere on the tube by the 2nd outing. Would have liked to of had little things like shampoo, and soap in the bathroom and simple spices for the kitchen. But we could easily get to the grocer a block away and left them there for the next guest. The garden was definitely a shared space, and you do hear the nice family above but may have been more noticeable to us just because we are not use to living in a city. Overall a good stay!
This spot was exactly as described. It's a bit outside the city but very close to the underground and buses. It's on the ground floor so be prepared to hear lots of footsteps from the flat above you. Great spot overall, would stay here again.
Great spot for exploring London, good value
Exactly as advertised, this apartment was a great home base for enjoying a few days in London. The apartment is clean and well-kept, with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It's a cozy space, with small bedrooms, but we only needed them for sleeping. The room with the double bed is pretty tight, with the bed barely fitting the width of the room, but it was comfortable. Our sons shared the other bedroom with two single beds and had no complaints. The living room, dining area, kitchen, and bathroom met all our needs. It was nice to have some food waiting for us on arrival, though it might have been even more helpful to have some kitchen basics (some cooking oil, salt/pepper, etc.). Being able to do laundry in the apartment was a huge benefit, though some additional instructions for the washing machine would be helpful - we tried it, using two different basic settings, but found that it seemed to take much longer than it should have (1-2 hours). The apartment is downstairs from a family with children, so if you're expecting silence, be advised. The location was wonderful - walking distance from a variety of grocery stores, restaurants, pubs, bus stops, and the underground. However, the neighborhood is mostly residential and quiet, even with those services and businesses so close by. We would certainly stay here again.
Great location, very comfortable
We were happy to have stayed at Victoria Garden. It was only a 5 minute walk to the underground station, and there were many stores and restaurants nearby. As a family with 2 teens, we had plenty of space and enjoyed the many thoughtful touches. The welcome basket was especially lovely.
Perfect for us
Though there were only two of us, we enjoyed the luxury of an extra bedroom for our luggage and added space. The hospitality basket of fruit and bread as well as a can of beans and wine was lovely, and we enjoyed the added touch. This is our third year using this property annually, as it is in a neighborhood we relate to as a home away from home near our daughter who lives nearby.
Clean, and comfortable. great location for transportation
Safe neighborhood and local restaurants were great!
