HOW DO WE GET TO AND FROM THE ISLAND?
We provide you a boat to get to and from the island, which is only a couple minutes from shore. You can also use the boat to go fishing, go out to eat, or sightseeing during day light hours on the gulf side. You park your car on our easement (a driveway on shore) with your boat dock only feet from your car.
IS THERE ELECTRICITY AND RUNNING WATER ON THE ISLAND?
This is a rustic private tropical island. Your power comes from a generator and your water from tanks on the houseboat. The refrigerator is powered by solar panels. Besides the bathroom facilities on the houseboat, there is a composting toilet on the island, which is similar to an outhouse.
