We spent a month in Monterey in February 2018 and were very comfortable in the apartment. It offered everything we needed, and was a perfect location for us. The apartment was clean, modern, and had every amenity we could ask for. Mickie was very pleasant to work with. We have only positive comments and are looking forward to returning!

Comfortable, convenient, with an entertaining view of the bay.
Tastefully decorated, with all you need to feel at home, even a garage. In the center of all the sites and attractions these coastal towns have to offer. Walking distance to downtown Monterey and Cannery Row. Cool ocean breezes through the your open windows makes for relaxing afternoons at home.
Thank you for staying in our home, you are wonderful guests.
Cozy apartment with a view
The apartment was well-equipped, clean and cozy. Bed was comfortable and location in a residential area was quiet, yet close to downtown. I was there for a month without a car and was able to get around walking and on the bike, which owner allows you to use. Wonderful view of the bay. Location in Old Monterey can't be beat. I've stayed in other places in Old Monterey and this was a good value.
Hi Mina. Thank you for choosing our home. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. Thanks Mickie
A very nice apartment with a STUNNING view!
We spent 4+ weeks in Feb/Mar 2017 in Mickie’s apartment & could not have enjoyed it more. The view of Monterey Bay out of the 3 large windows is truly amazing. The unit is very clean, comfortable, attractively decorated, well-equipped & located in a pleasant, residential neighborhood near shopping & places of interest to visitors. The new large shower & spacious bathroom are exceptionally nice. It has a widescreen TV, Wi-Fi, DirecTV, & other video services. The patio & gas grill are a plus for those of us who like to cook out. A garage is available downstairs with a washer/dryer for the occupants’ exclusive use. It is hard to imagine a better place to stay. The apartment is as portrayed in the listing, maybe better; in addition, Mickie was easy to work with & very helpful.
We found endless things to do, including enjoying restaurants in Monterey, Carmel-by-the-Sea, Pacific Grove, Moss Landing, Carmel Valley, & Santa Cruz. We bought most of our groceries at Trader Joe’s, a few blocks away, but Lucky & Safeway are also convenient. We bought fresh local seafood (salmon, shrimp, halibut, rockfish, squid, sea scallops) many times at Monterey Fish Co at the end of the Municipal Wharf.
We enjoyed walking/driving along the exceptionally beautiful rugged coast in Pacific Grove, Carmel, & Asilomar State Beach. We visited several local museums, Cannery Row, Fisherman’s Wharf, & the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary, watched seals, otters, & shore birds at state beaches & Elkhorn Slough near Moss Landing, & hiked at Jacks Peak Park, Point Lobos State Reserve, & Point Pinos Lighthouse.
In ‘downtown’ Carmel-by-the-Sea, we enjoyed exploring the numerous courtyards & passageways filled with countless shops & restaurants. In Santa Cruz (about 30 miles north) we saw giant redwoods in Henry Cowell State Park, drove onto the restaurant-filled half-mile long Santa Cruz Wharf for lunch, & watched surfers from the bluffs at Lighthouse Point. We visited the Mission in Carmel & drove several times down the Pacific Coast Highway to Big Sur with many exceptionally scenic state parks & beaches along the way as well as several restaurants with stunning views. A favorite place was Garrapata State Beach where we could walk down to the beach & have a picnic while watching the wild crashing surf.
All in all, Mickie’s apartment provides a very comfortable & enjoyable base from which to partake all of the many exceptional things to do and see in the area.
Thank you so much for this nice review. We enjoyed having you stay at our home.
Sunny, cozy Monterey get-away
We couldn't have been happier staying in this cozy apartment with a view of Monterey bay. We loved the location! The unit is in a quiet, residential neighborhood and is in six block walking distance of old historic Monterey and its interesting downtown. The world-famous aquarium is a 45 minute walk away as are many parks and walking paths. Of course, Point Lobos, Big Sur, the California missions and multiple beautiful areas are also nearby. The unit is sunny, clean and well-kept...a perfect size for a couple, whether you're staying a few days or a month as we did. It was fun visiting family in the area while still having our own, warm home-away-from-home to come back to every night. Five stars!
Thank you for choosing our home, we are so glad you liked it. Please come again!
