Why Allure Villas chose Alvor
Alvor is an ideal resort for families and has everything that you need for a relaxing holiday. There are plenty of shops including several smaller grocery shops for your daily needs, but if you do decide you want to go further afield then Lagos is to the west and Portimão is to the east. There isn't even a need to hire a car as the bus stop by the taxi rank has regular buses to both places. The riverfront has to be one of Alvor’s most idyllic settings, as you sit and watch the fishing boats come and go. In the end, near the lifeboat station, is a collection of restaurants tempting you with the aroma of freshly barbecued fish. Portimão is the biggest town in the western Algarve and sits on the bank of the Arade river facing Ferragudo on the opposite bank. Portimão's Atlantic beach of Praia da Rocha has, over the years, become a resort with lots of hotels, apartments, restaurants, bars, nightclubs and shops. Lagos is a beautiful city nestled in a bay 17 km west of Portimão and 35 km east of Sagres. The old town is mainly pedestrian and invites you to enjoy strolling and visiting churches as the chapel of Santo António. It is one of the most visited cities in the Algarve because of its beauty and the large number of beaches, bars and restaurants. The beaches around Lagos are considered among the most beautiful of the Algarve as Praia Dona Ana, a 25 min. walk from the city centre, Praia do Camilo & Meia Praia to the west of the city, with its 4 km of sand, and not forgetting Lagos bay with its caves, rocks and crystal clear water.

Beautiful villa on a perfect place
The house was really spacious and well equipped. Nice garden perfectly on the sun, with good pool( fresh in april/may).
The villapark is well organised and quiet, located at the most beautiful beach and Portimão and alvor only 5 minutes by car. Definetely come back!
Thank you very much for your review!
We are happy to know that you have enjoyed your stay and are at your disposal for another opportunity.

Natur pur vom Feinsten, traumhafter Strand
Sunshine, warm temperatures and hot nightlife make this region the perfect holiday destination.
Algarve has a sunny, dry climate influenced by the Atlantic and Mediterranean conditions which make it a delightful year-round holiday destination, a perfect escape from cold Northern European winters.
The deep blue Atlantic Ocean held back by endless golden sandy beaches protected by dunes and a mild breeze, was one of the reasons why Portugal sea coast was chosen as the best in Europe.
Perfect for sun bathing and boat trips along some of the islands in the Algarve, miles of limestone caves, grottoes, cliffs and coves along its rugged coastline.
Waterparks are also a fun option, a world of water attractions for the whole family to enjoy.
Golfers will love the championship courses and 5-star resorts, some of them sitting on ochre cliffs surrounded by verdant pines with views across the Atlantic.
Charming towns boast beautiful Moorish architecture and a lively seaside ambiance that contrast with the vibrant nightlife in Portimão, Faro and Vilamoura.
At the extreme southwest of Portugal there is a place surrounded by wild nature far from the mass tourist activities of most of the Algarve, its name is Sagres, a village full of ancient sea legends and historic monuments, from where Portuguese ships set sail on their voyages of maritime discovery - it also happens to be considered one of the best surf breaks in Europe.
The highlight of the regional gastronomy is the fresh fish and seafood. Savour some of the delicious local cuisine including mussels, prawns and the “cataplana” (seafood stew).
Don’t miss the regional pastry, especially the almonds and marzipan cup cakes.
