Amazing location but internally could be better
Lovely view from cottage but cottage had a very musty damp smell and wasn't as high a standard as I expected. The mention that it had been recently renovated encouraged me to book, and although some newer items had been clearly added in throughout, overall the property feels dated & very tired. For the price I would have expected better.
The village Tayvallich itself is outstanding and we have booked to come back to another newer rental property for next Spring.
If you just wanted a bed to sleep in for the night with amazing views and weren't looking for a bit more luxury /high spec this cottage would be absolutely fine.
