The house was beautiful and very clean. The view is awesome! Saw deer one day in the backyard. Laurie is very nice! My 2 girls loved the Jacuzzi. My wife and I loved the shower. It is just a short drive to Acadia. Quiet and peaceful location. No problems. Wonderful week!

A MUST!

  • 5 of 5

First off, the photos just can't do this rental justice. The landscaping, interior, and exterior spaces are beautiful. The layout of each room, especially the suite upstairs is comfortable and pleasing. Laurie and David, are a pleasure to rent from. The owners live right next door and were able to help in anyway we needed. Every little detail was thought out, from hotel like convinces, a gift basket upon arrival, labels here and there throughout the house. The view is surreal and this is coming from a Maine girl born and raised who has seen many a Maine view. I highly recommend this rental for families up to 6 and especially as a couples retreat. The surrounding area is pretty spectacular as well. You won't regret it. Super price for the experience. Thank you Laurie and David!

All 5's!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our famiy vacation in this "all 5's" house. From the communications and helpfullness to the beautiful house, everything was perfect. The house is well stocked, super clean, with attention to all the details. The view, the location and the privacy were just what we were looking for and so relaxing.

Amazing

  • 5 of 5

My stay here was absolutely awesome! I came for my birthday weekend with 3 friends. Laurie and David were so helpful and had great communication. The house was immaculate and I do not have one bad thing to say about it. Everything is so clean and well kept and we did not want for a thing! It was an amazing view and we had a great time relaxing here. I never write reviews but this stay deserved 5 stars from me!

An all around fantastic experience!

  • 5 of 5

Our family cannot say enough wonderful things about this rental. From the minute we pulled in, we found it absolutely charming! The gardens around the house are very pretty. The grounds are mostly natural looking, but very weel kept. We were welcomed into the stay with a lovely gift basket of delicious local treats waiting for us on the bar! The house was extremely clean and completely wonderful. It's a newer home with wonderful touches of art and nature throughout. The master bedroom upstairs has a wonderful view of the harbor, and almost any direction you turn in the house you're looking through windows. We had deer eating in the backyard every morning and various wildlife could be heard nearby in the evening. One of the best ways to relax around the property (as if we weren't relaxed enough...) were the chairs out by the edge of the marsh where you could watch the tide come in and go out in the harbor. We were an easy distance to Mt. Desert Island, so that was a plus. But the house was very warm and welcoming. It was one of the best parts about our stay in the area. We couldn't wait to get into the comfortable beds every night and enjoy the sounds of the Maine evening through the windows.

AMAZING !

  • 5 of 5

As amazing as the pictures are, they fall short how great a home this is! Everything as promised & more. Great location only 30 minutes from Acadia park. Laurie & Dave are fantastic hosts, they thought of everything. Their garden could rival Thayer's. You'll never want to leave!
