Beautiful view. The house suited our needs perfectly. Michael is a great host and while we didn’t need to call him during our stay, he was just a text or a phone call away. Highly recommend this house!
Thank you Corinda and Tom. I'm glad you enjoyed the house and surroundings as we have for almost 50 yrs. Come again!
Fantastic house for the weekend with a gorgeous view!
Our stay was fantastic. Michael was so helpful and accommodating, the house had everything we needed, and the views were spectacular. Very relaxing! We’ll be back!
Carly and her friends were great guests and we will welcome them back.
Relaxing in the clouds...
The place was comfortable, clean, and a relaxing place to get away. It had all the necessities for our small family reunion. Very comfortable for the eight of us. It was about an 18 -minute drive down the mountain to Santa Barbara proper, but I would definitely recommend this place if you want to go and plant yourself for a few days in a very comfortable, quiet and private place. The outdoor deck was great! The first day was sunny and warm, the second day the clouds rolled in and it was on the cool side, but it was just as beautiful! Actually, coming from further south, it was a welcome change! Checking in and out was easy too! We would absolutely stay again!
Excellent experience all around.
I can't wait to visit again!!!
Kim and her family were great guests and we look forward to hosting them again soon.
Stunning views, Charming home
Mike was so kind and we LOVED their beautiful home so full or rich history and warmth. The views are incredible, the hummingbirds plentiful, the home comfortable. I wish we had more time to spend there as it was a busy family weekend event in SB. I guess we'll have to come back soon just to spend time in the house.
The only thing I would warn folks about is the very last section of one way road leading up to the house driveway is a narrow and winding road without any guard rails protecting you from the view below. Not a problem for my brothers and I but my parents couldn't drive it comfortably... especially at night. But we left their car just a minute away and would shuttle them up and back to their car when needed.
Great views and decks.
Private Homes, Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara Area, Central Coast, California, USA (20 Minutes From Downtown S.B, UCSB and Santa Ynez Wineries) San Marcos Pass has recently been declared one of the most scenic highways in the country and has been designated as a national scenic corridor protected from billboards and commercial development. The drive to and from town is spectacular. Additionally, West Camino Cielo is the route of several 'cloud tours' from Santa Barbara, that bring visitors up out of the summer fog on their way to the Santa Ynez Valley Wine Country. The mountains are an amazing experience from another time. But if it gets too quiet, The Chumash Indian Casino is just over the hill.
