Spectacular absolutely oceanfront, 5,000 square foot home with 3 masters, elevator, high speed internet, multiple TVs, 3 sundecks, library, piano, gourmet kitchen with new state of the art appliances, sun room, entertainment center, outside shower, new gas BBQ, three car garage. Re-decorated this past year. Rates higher for holidays. Non smoking. (SAT-SAT rental from Memorial Day to Labor Day)

I had this home built and it was my personal residence until I built on the next Island. It is my only rental house so it is lovingly cared for. I chose the lot because it is close enough to walk to bars and restaurants, but far enough away so you don't get any crowd on your stretch of perfect beach.

About Mark Reinhardt

I moved to Isle of Palms from Minnesota (Brrrr) and found the ideal lot on which to build this home. My family and I lived there until we moved to the next island, Sullivans. My office is still in Minnesota, and I commute every other week or so. I always look forward to returning to the beautiful 'Low Country' of South Carolina!

I have used VRBO around the world, and this is one of the best vacation rentals I have ever seen. It is my only vacation rental, so it is my 'baby', and tenderly cared for.

This home is in the heart of 'Millionaire's Row' one of the best beaches in the country. You can walk to restaurants, live music, lively night clubs, or just watch the waves from the porch. Any way you cut it, this will be a vacation to remember!

Great beach and wonderful beach home

We have a siblings (6) reunion every 2 years and decided on a beach vacation. Along with others had a total of 13 adults. The home worked very well. Loved the huge dining room table as we could all eat together and play board games. The kitchen was huge and very open so while we cooked could talk and laugh and still look out on the beach. All the bedrooms were fine and loved 6 bathrooms! That didn't even count the shower underneath the house to wash off the sand. Only had one sunny day but could still walk on the beach and enjoy waking up to the sound of waves. Everyone enjoyed their stay and felt like we were rich and famous for a few days!!!

Wonderful Vacation Home

My family of 17, a mixture of grandparents, their adult kids and their young adult and soon to be adult grandchildren had a fabulous vacation at "L'Etoile Du Sud". Our extended family has enjoyed beach vacations on the East Coast for the past 20 years, with the past 3 years at Isle of Palms. We have returned to Isle of Palms because there are no crowds, no traffic in the area, there is very easy access to grocery store (minutes), the Charleston Airport is very close, and the City of Charleston is just 20 minutes away for hours or days of adventure. There is so much to do in the Isle of Palms area and this beach is the most beautiful I have seen on the East Coast.

This year we had a wonderful time at this vacation home. The owner Mark was very attentive and offered many suggestions for things to do in the area. He also was very attentive to the home and clearly let us know that if there were any issues we could call him anytime.

Our family loved this home as it is quite special with original artwork, a piano, and a unique floor plan. We enjoyed the up to date appliances, including large stainless fridge, brand new dishwasher, top of the line washer and dryer, and brand new separate ice maker in the living room area. We did not lack for anything in the kitchen, there were plenty of plates, silverware, utensils, etc., everything we needed. The dining table is the best ever. All 17 of us could sit together at one table each night. The adjacent living room has 3 leather couches where we watched the Olympic games many nights.

We enjoyed the media room off of the kitchen on the street side of the house and the large outdoor deck extending from this room with lots of seating and a brand new propane grill. This area was really a bonus that we haven't seen in other homes.

Also, the upstairs has a library area with a built in ironing board and an adjacent laundry room. The library area was also a nice buffer area, providing extra space.

The front decks were great, lots of sun even in the late afternoon when many IOP houses are shaded in the ocean side.

The shower and the toilet under the house were great during a day at the beach. Another bonus.

This Oceanfront Beach rental appears to have been enjoyed by many, well loved, and well maintained. It was perfect for our vacation this year. We hope to return again!

Great beachfront home

This was a great place to spend a week with my family. The house is spacious and beautiful. The owner was extremely accomodating & we were impressed with the hospitality. Would definitely rent here again!

Retirement Ceremony

Great place for a large extended family stay. Plenty of room to get away from each other or to get together with one another. I can't say enough nice things about the owner. Very responsive and wonderful to work with. Perfect place for children of all ages. House is fully furnished and has many nice extras. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

Cousins' Reunion

We loved the house, the view, and the proximity to good local restaurants and Charleston. The owner, Mark, was very helpful and responsive.
