Good overall property away from everything.

  • 3 of 5

The house was good in size and very comfortable, especially for the price. The main issues we had were the some structural issues such as the sliding window screen up top was constantly coming off its track. Also, beware that this property is on an extremely steep hillside (18% at parts) and caution needs to be exercised coming in and out. Its also not close to very many amenities, which is both a positive and a negative. Its great if you just want to be out of the way, but not good if you are planning trips to and from Kona Kailua or any other place on the island. The traffic and roads make travel a little more difficult here.

Wonderful

We had great stay at this house on our recent family vacation. The house was spacious and met the needs of our entire family. Both of our children 3 and 14 years old had great time. House has everything you might need for the vacation with kids.

beautiful house, beautiful view

  • 5 of 5

We loved this area, especially for proximity to two great beaches--Hookena and Place of Refuge. the house had everything we needed and was beautiful. We especially appreciated the screened in lanai, so no bugs. We loved having snorkel equipment and beach toys available for us.

We spent a perfect week in this fabulous house, close to the ocean, in a very quiet and enjoyable place. A lot of equipment and very nice decoration. This was so Nice! Thanks a lot Roger and Sadiya for permitting us so nice vacations in your house. The breakfast in the morning or the dinner in the evening on the lanai was so lovely.... You can trust on our recommendation

This is such a great home because it's something different! The decor is so fun and colorful. The garden is rockin! And the sunset views are fabulous! Sadiya and Roger bend over backwards to make it a stay of a lifetime. There is so much to do on the Big Island and we did it all but the highlight of our trip was time spent sipping piña coladas on the lanai of this lovely home. You'll love it!
