This place was amazing! From the views to the host. It was one of the cleanest VRBO's we stayed in. If you needed anything Rosario and Barbara were a text away. Keep in mind you are in the Amalfi coast area, narrow, curvy roads and stairs! Park and take the bus. You must try Lucca's restaurant at the bottom of hill, we ate there twice is was so good. They also have a small market. We loved it! Thank you Lyndina
A big thank you to Dina and Charlie, special people.
Fabulous view, very clean and spacious
Really enjoyed our stay here. Barbara and Rosario were very accommodating and helpful.
Thanks Trevor ,it was a real pleasure!
Brilliant views of the Amalfi coast
This lovely apartment on the hillside overlooking the Amalfi coast was our base for our summer holidays .The house was really great with everything that we needed and Barbara and her husband were always on hand to advice us or help if needed just a quick phone call or message and they always replied thanks for that. The house is split into two sections so can suit a small or larger group easily . Well decorated throughout and the views from all 3 bedrooms is great sitting out on the balcony watching the oats and cars . The whole area is builthe on the side of the cliffs so unless so if you don't like climbing steps I would advise you not to visit this part of Italy . If steps is not a problem for you this area is great we found some excellent walks and beaches (no sand all stones this region) . I would suggest having a car as the bus service is not to good and in the summer can be full or late you could wait 2 hours for a bus. But if you are up for a great location with wonderful views this is an ideal location but be warned there is steps all over this area and in the summer it can be hard for those who don't walk much. A great time was had by our family and again a big thank you to Barbara and her family.
First and foremost-the positives- the view from this apartment is spectacular and the place was immaculately clean-which is a very big deal with me. If you are inclined to take the bus, the bus stop is right out on the street. The owners, Rosario and Barbara were very helpful and only a phone call away if anything was needed.
The negatives, the road to get there is very, very, narrow and full of really tight hairpin turns.
You must park in the street and again with this narrow road, you must go a considerable distance to turn around and even at these spots turning is not fun. . There is a restaurant within walking distance, but walking there is dangerous because of the narrow road. Italians may be accustomed to these roads but we found them nerve wracking. The other thing one must be aware of is that to get to and from the house you must climb 56 treacherous stone steps. There is no rail so bringing luggage and/or groceries in is quite a workout. So if you are older or have any physical limitations this is not the place to rent.
Lastly there is no nearby access to any beach. So, if you are interested in this place you just have to weigh the pros and cons.
Ciao Patricia,I thank you for the commitment in your feedback,I would like to point out that on the description the stairs are indicated, moreover the Amalfi Coast is known for its narrow and sinuous streets.I'm sorry to see the difficulty you've had,you probably did not consider that you had elderly and children with you that have amplified the difficulties! Our task, as we promise ad is to give a beautiful, clean and complete location,so I think it would be more right to split up their difficulties from other things.Best regards Rosario and Barbara.
Fantastic property, pictures don't do it justice
Barbara and Rosario were fantastic hosts and made us feel welcome and at home. They provided us with maps and information about the local area. There is parking on the road if you are going yo be driving.
The apartment is huge, with good size rooms nd bathrooms, and the view from the balcony is stunning in the morning. The kitchen was clean and tidy and there was ample space.
All in all it was a perfect venue for me and my friends. Furore is perfectly located as it is quieter than the main towns but easily accessible and was a good base for us as we went out to explore the amalfi coast
Thank you very much to Vithuran and his friends, really fantastic people!!
Nice apartment not far from Amalfi
The apartment is nice and was very clean and spacious with all necessary amenities (washing machine, dishwasher etc.) and great views. Barbara and Rosario were very nice and helpful.
It takes about 35-40 minutes to get to Amalfi by bus (driving was too crazy for us).
In Furore, little country of Amalfi coast, there is a fantastic apartment with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a big kitchen and livingroom. All the rooms have a fantastic view an the Amalfi coast .It is in a very quite side and you can park your car free in Street up the apartment.
