Beautiful town house in amazingly convenient location
Why Jenny Hogan chose Estepona
The location is second to none. Based on a small quiet complex yet within a short walk of one of Esteponas most family friendly beaches. A gentle 10 min stroll takes you to the vibrant marina filled with grocery stores and restaurants. A further 15 minutes stroll along the promenade takes you to old town Estepona where you can delight in the shopping , dine in the small Spanish squares and admire the unique narrow streets decorated with matching pots and plants.

FIVE WEEKS IN ESTEPONA
LOVELY HOUSE - CLEAN, WELL FURNISHED AND EQUIPPED BOTH INSIDE AND OUT. TERRACES ARE GREAT - ROOF TERRACE WONDERFUL VIEWS. WE HAD GORGEOUS SUN AND WARMTH DECEMBER THROUGH TO JANUARY AND FOUND IT EASY TO WARM THE HOUSE AS THE NIGHTS GOT COLDER . FIVE MINUTE WALK TO THE NEAREST BEACH AND 15 MINUTES TO THE MARINA. PLENTY OF RESTAURANTS AND BARS - GOOD SUPERMARKETS NEARBY. THANKS TO KAREN FOR BEING SO WELCOMING AND HELPFUL.HOPE TO BOOK AGAIN.
Fantastic house for the big family
This lovely house is located close to Cristos beach and the marina. This beach is child friendly with quite shallow water. There is many nice restaurants in the marina, a bit pricey though. In the pittoresque old town you find more cosy restaurants. There is one supermarket not so far away.
The calm garden with its two terraces is beautiful with banana trees and oranges. One terrace with BBQ and the other is perfect for a long drink after dinner. The shared pool is just a few steps from the house.
We received very good service from Karen who solved our problems with aircondition and TV.
We recommend the house and would like to come back in future.
We loved the stay in the apartment
We would highly recommand renting this apartment for holiday. It has a lot of space, everything you need, lovely roofterrace, 3 toaletts and bedrooms, beatiful garden terrace and close to pool area and a 10 minutes walk to the beach. We were welcommed and taken care of from we came until we left. We have nothing to complain about.
An ideal location for exploring Estepona and the surrounding countryside. Walking into town was pleasant and easy.
Spacious family home
Really enjoyed our stay, we were 4 adults and 3 young children, (4,2,-1), lovely complex, We had the pool to ourselves for the vast majority of our stay. Marina is a comfortable 15 minute walk( with kids!) and a lovely, quiet beach is only 5 minutes away. Estepona is about a 30 minute walk. Everything is catered for and key pick up is en route to the house.
A perfect stay for us
My girlfriend and I stayed for one month from mid-January to mid- February and enjoyed this house completely. Great location near the harbor, its restaurants and Sunday flea market, bull ring, etc. The house was as advertised - great terraces with views of the Rock of Gibralter, wood burning fireplace, bbq, big smart tv with free streaming, washer/dryer (slow drying was the only negative in the whole house). Altogether, highly recommended.
Estepona is one of the most popular destinations for both tourists and foreign residents alike on the Costa del Sol, yet even today it still manages to retain it’s old Andalusian charm. Located at the western end of the Costa del Sol at the foot of the Sierra Bermeja mountains.
Estepona’s cobbled narrow streets, fishing port, Spanish cafes and bars spilling out higgledy piggledy on the pavements, and the quaint shops and bodegas, all combine with the modern Puerto Deportivo (leisure port) and marina, the tourist facilities and golden sandy beaches, to make this a comfortable and interesting place to stay for holidaymakers.
From Estepona you can go and visit some spectacular inland scenery and the typical towns of Casares, Jubrique, Genaguacil and Manilva, with its famous Roman bath of 'La Hedionda'.
Gibraltar is about 25 minutes drive away and the Bohemian beach paradise of Tarifa, around 45 minutes drive. If you are feeling adventurous in nearby Algeciras you can hop on a ferry to Morocco for a few days shopping and sightseeing.
Many of Estepona’s beaches have been awarded the blue flag status for their high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Most have good facilities, including children’s facilities, showers, beach restaurants and watersports.
In front of Estepona town is La Rada Beach, a long beach of golden sands, where you can enjoy activities such as Kayaking and windsurfing. The wonderful El Cristo beach is located to the west of the town and is an excellent beach for families and it is sheltered within a cove.
Other beaches located close by including Playa Costa Natura, Sabinillas, Puerto Duquesa and Sotogrande, plus just 50 minutes drive are the wonderful beaches of Tarifa and the Costa de la Luz.
Estepona is one of the most popular destinations for golf holidays in Spain; the area is packed with golf courses, for all levels and all budgets.
Estepona Golf Course is a popular, yet challenging course. One of the most established courses on the Costa del Sol is the Paraiso Golf Club, which is located between Estepona and Marbella; it’s a peaceful course with a stunning backdrop of mountains.
The famous Valderrama Golf Club, which plays host to the Volvo Masters each year, is located in nearby Sotogrande. Other courses in and around Estepona include: El Campanario Golf, La Duquesa Golf and Atalaya Golf & Country Club.
Estepona is not short of a restaurant and whatever your taste, you will be satisfied with the choice. There are some excellent traditional tapas bars, Spanish restaurants and bodegas, if you want to enjoy typical Spanish and Mediterranean cuisine. Plus there are some excellent fish restaurants, both in the port and in the town, plus the beautiful beaches are home to a number of excellent Chiringuitos and beach bars.
