This cottage is located on the top hills of Penedo, in a natural am much quiet area from where you enjoy one of the most unique views of Sintra and the sea. The village of Penedo still keeps old trace houses and traditions making it still one of the most typical small. Ideal for walkers, which can swing through winding roads bordered by small cottages, old traditional chalets and the center of the old village.
The house has been a personalised ambiance though being simultaneously typical from the small villages of Sintra. It has been well kept and it offers your own private sunny garden, where you may enjoy a nice meal at outdoors and a magnificent terrace with an unique exclusive view from Colares region and towards the sea. At the entrance floor you have kitchen, bathroom (with bath and shower), large living room and dinning, fireplace lounge and a small bedroom with a single bed. On the top floor you have the other 2 bedrooms, having the first a double bed and a private toilet and the second bedroom with 2 single beds and access to the terrace. All bedrooms have very nice views. Comfort is assured also with the open and closed-hearth fireplaces in the living room and lounge room. It has internet wireless and TV. At the entrance you also have a small patio with a stone outdoor table. The cottage doesn't have a washing machine.
Although set in an incredibly quiet environment is within easy striking range of a number of hot spots, including such landmarks as World Heritage town and palaces of Sintra ( 4 km), and the Maças and Grande beaches (4km), it is an ideal site for a family or group vacation for nature lovers who do not want to miss out on culture and social life. It is especially suited to potential explorers of the Sintra hills, as several footpaths start off from Eugaria and criss-cross the hills. Major landmarks within the hills include the early medieval convent of Capuchos (3 km walking), the Royal Palace of Pena (5 km) or the Blue Lagoon (6 km). Likewise, a number of beaches are within range of Eugaria, most notably the Lisbon city-dweller's resorts of Praia da Adraga, Praia Grande and Praia das Maças (both within 4km). It is at about half an hour driving range from Lisbon.
