Come visit PERLA UNO….., our luxurious, beachfront, terraced home, with its own private patio and infinity pool, situated on the ground floor and just a few steps from the beach. 3 master bedroom suites, one with a California king size bed and 2 with 2 double beds, all with bathrooms en suite. Two of the master bedroom suites have their own private patios and extensive, uninterrupted panoramic ocean views of Banderas Bay east to Puerto Vallarta and the stunning Sierra Mardre mountain range beyond.

ABOUT PERLA UNO: The colorful décor and furnishings are all custom designed and coordinated by well known Puerto Vallarta interior designer, Artell, in local fabrics and furniture made here in Mexico. Art by local artists including that of the renowned Sayulita artist, Evelyne Boren adorn the walls adding to the bright and joyful living areas. Uninterrupted views of the ocean and Bandaras Bay are a feature of this residence and the beach can be reached directly from our home. Walk to the village of Bucerias or just enjoy the friendly surf in front of Perla Uno.

The spacious living room/dining area is perfect for entertaining with the added space of a large patio immediately accessed through glass patio doors which can retract to the walls doubling the size of the “inside/outside” living area. A large, oval, marble topped patio table with seating for 8 sits by the private infinity pool with uninterrupted water views framed by palm trees providing a tropical environment for living and entertaining. Enjoy tasty BBQ’s on the terrace enjoying the warm and soft twilight view across the bay.

LOCATION: Perla Uno is located within the exceptional secure gated community of Punta Esmeralda, just 25 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta and the airport. The villa includes over 3,000 square feet of living space and is equipped to meet all your needs, including air conditioning, WFI for wireless access for your laptop, flat screen TV in the living area and bedroom. A water softener and additional water purification system is installed providing purified water to kitchen and all bathrooms.. Fully stocked kitchen and all towels and linens are of exceptional quality (your sheets are ironed!). There are two kayaks available, paddle board, and tennis rackets for your use.

THE COMMUNITY OF PUNTA ESMERALDA: Punta Esmeralda provides 24 hour security, seven large infinity swimming pools, tennis courts, and a fully equipped gym overlooking Banderas Bay, as well as spa services. The Punta Esmeralda Beach Club is within 3 minutes of Perla 1 and provides food service and cocktails while sitting under the large palapa beside the infinity pool and the beach.

GEOGRAPHICS: Perla 1 is well situated between two charming local villages, Bucerias and La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, the latter of which provides a state of the art boat marina and malecon for promenading! The local fresh fish market is at the Marina. Both villages provide all types of restaurants and stores, with local merchants selling fish caught fresh that morning, and avocados straight from the tree! Try our favorite restaurants at Mark's Restaurant and Mezzaluna in Bucerias and La Frascatti, and a local favorite Tacos on the Street in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle just minutes from Punta Esmeralda. A Mega Food Supermarket is located just south of the village of Bucerias and is convenient for quality fruits, vegetables and an provisons including an extensive wine department selection.

Just 20 minutes north is the community of Punta Mita, the northern tip of the Bay of Banderas, with many charming restaurants located right on the beach and the nationally recognized Four Seasons Hotel nearby. We recommend The Blue Shrimp and Si Senor's Restaurants located in the ocean side community of El Anclote at Punta Mita. Spectacular views await you for a romantic dinner overlooking the ocean.

Sayulita, well known for surfing and artisan shopping, is another 10 minutes north. Don Pedro's is our favorite restaurant on the beach. This Pueblo Magico is a surfing mecca and offers comfortable beachside sunbathing and safe swimming.

Also take time to visit San Pancho 5 minutes north of Sayulita, a sleepy Mexican beachside community with a long sandy beach. Try a sundowner cocktail and on the secluded beach at the Las Palmas Beach Restaurant to enjoy a spectacular sunset over the ocean. Dinner and street music with dinner at Marie's, or one of many delightful local restaurants is unforgettable.

In Puerto Vallarta, there’s much to do and see. Walk the Malecon, enjoy the arts and craft galleries or dine out in any one of the dozens of world class restaurants. There are many tourist activities to enjoy in Puerto Vallarta and the surrounding areas, such as:

• ATV riding and dune buggy rental

• Canopy riding (about the trees)

Always lovely at Punta Esmeralda

This is our family goto vacation spot. We love how quiet and peaceful it is. Definitely NOT a spot for folks who want to be walking distance to shops, the hustle and bustle of a town, or nightlife. Yet, that is what we love about it. Taxi's are easy to get and cheap for when we wanted that. We'll be back next year for some more relaxing family time. Especially LOVE the palapa restaurant and Diego, Juan, and their team are all phenomenal both in terms of food and service. Such beautiful souls.

This year was busier than most as we came for Semana Santa - yet it was still easy enough to find a seat by the pool.

This unit is stunning and a real home. Not a soulless unit. For example, ther visitors leave shampoo that you can use and we really appreciated that (we gave back when we left too ). We also really appreciate access to the washing machine and the owners closet. We were looking for birthday candles for a new friend my daughters met at the complex and we found some there! It saved the day (and a trip to the MEGA).

Thank you for the loveliest of vacations. We cannot wait to come back again next year.

Beautiful location with all the amenities

The pictures are completely accurate and we could not have asked for a better place to stay. We had great mornings enjoying the beach during the high tide and retreated to the heated pool by the restaurant in the afternoons. The grocery store is not too far away, about a $5 cab ride and just 15 minutes away.

In a seperate note, the on site restaurant is a bit high priced and just fair. You’re definitely better off cooking a meal in the fully equipped kitchen or on bbq outside on the patio.

We look forward to another visit there sometime in the future. Thank you for your hospitality David.
