Great place to get some quiet time with family away from the city
The cabin was nice and stocked very well. The only thing we could not get the fireplace and icemaker working, but that didn't keep us from enjoying our visit.
Quaint, Clean cabin
We stayed here for 3 night on a last minute trip for my husband's work. The cabin was clean and as described on the ad. Was a little difficult to find, especially at night and did not have a mountain view. The manager was quick to respond to emails and we had no problems. A good find for last minute, but not one I would return to.
We had a great time and we enjoyed the days we spent at the cabin.
Beautiful getaway in the woods
We stayed in this beautiful home for 2 nights. Working with Jason was a joy. He answered all my questions in a timely manner. When we arrived, the cabin was clean and welcoming. The view is breathtaking at any time of day. Be prepared though, the drive up is a little steep, nothing a car can't handle though. Thank you, Jason, for providing this lovely home for vacationers.
My husband and I stayed for our first anniversary, and loved the beautiful and peaceful retreat. The chalet was equipped with everything we could possibly need, and was comfortable and well kept. The location was nearby to the lake for swimming, Jackrabbit trail for biking/hiking, and the new Hayesville brewery. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
Nice little cabin on a hill! We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean upon arrival. Eveything needed for a nice visit to the mountains. Was a pleasure working with Jason on getting the reservation set-up. The cabin is convenient to a lot of neat things. Minutes away from Lake Chatuge and a short drive to many things in the Smokey Mountains. Would defineitely rent again!
This property is located in Hayesville, NC (between Hayesville and Murphy off of Hwy 64) which is located in Clay County. The city of Hayesville sits at the base of the Tusquittee Mountain Range which reaches heights of over 5000 ft in elevation. Fires Creek & Tusquitte Creek are formed from this enormous drainage basin. Both creeks are Hatchery-Supported Trout Streams and eventually empty into the Hiwassee River. Lake Chatuge is the gem of the TVA lake system. Lake Chatuge has 2 large marinas and a few smaller ones. The Ridges Resort owns the largest marina and has scenic lakeside restaurants and lodging facilities. The Ridges Resort also owns Mountain Harbour golf course which includes a $6 million clubhouse that houses the Pro Shop, Sequoyah Grill (fine dining) and the Cherokee Grill (casual dining). The John Campbell Folk School (10 minutes away) and GA Mtn. Fairgounds (25 minutes away) have festivals, fairs & live entertainment. Recently the HARRAH'S CHEROKEE VALLEY RIVER CASINO & HOTEL has opened, it is only a 20 minute drives from the property. They offer digital games as well as traditional table ones as well, so if your feeling lucky stop in and test the waters.
