Overall stay was nice, but unit is in need of maintenance
The vacation itself was great, but I have listed a few items below that need attention and maintenance. <br />
1. Upon entering the handle came off in my hand on the storm door. It is an easy fix, but cannot be fixed without tools.<br />
2. All cabinets; bathroom and kitchen; are loose and not aligned correctly. Again, an easy fix with a screwdriver.<br />
3. The idicator light on the stove remains lit; warning that a stove top is hot, this is not the case. I checked to ensure it was not hot upon arriving. The front right burner is simply not attached and does not work. Again, quick fix.<br />
4. Both full size beds in the bedroom need to be replaced. The one closest to the door, the frame is completely broken and the middle is bowed in and on the ground. Since I didn't sleep in it I did not notice until I was checking unit before leaving to ensure nothing was left behind.<br />
These above mentioned items require attention to ensure a great stay for the next guest. <br />
Also, I realize that the rental companies switched from Vrbo; where I booked; to Vacasa before I arrived, but this made for a very confusing check in. Since I did not have a Vacasa app installed I was not getting alerts. I did not open emails from Vacasa or immediately pay my balance because I was never alerted via Vrbo and thought Vacasa was a scam. It would have been extremely helpful to be kept notified via an app that I booked through that things had changed.<br />
Due to the confusing nature of this check in a print out of all the rules and locations of ammenities offered once I arrived would have been great.<br />
The final aspect of this rental that is another reason for the low rating is concerning my day of departure. Check out was listed at 11am. However, since we are on a 2nd floor unit the stairs need to be ultilized to carry down the items to pack in the car. This was made difficult as the cleaning crew arrived at 10:30am and began unloading and carrying bags of linens, materials, vacuums, etc. up the stairs I was attempting to get down. The landings were blocked causing chaos and delaying my departure from the unit 15 minutes.<br />
Overall, the stay was very nice and I am extemely grateful for the hospitality. The option for early check in was great, however due to the switching that occurred of rental companies I did not have the code to get in since my fear of security issues; opening an email from Vacasa (a company I did not book through); prevented me from opening an email I assumed was spam. Yet, both Lyndsee and Marisa were very helpful in quickly resolving this. The unit itself is also very close to the beach, but is much more difficult to access than surrounding condos since a small boardwalk is not built over the dunes for easy access.

Maintenance has fixed the cabinet and handle, and we are working on the stove. All guests with previous reservations were sent emails regarding the change from St. Augustine Stays to Vacasa; we apologize if this and other pertinent information missed you in the emails. These condos don't have a boardwalk because they are closer to the beach than any of the other condos on that beach. Beach access is right behind the condo, and instead of walking down a long boardwalk, you to walk down 5 stairs. Thanks!
Another amazing stay at coquina, we absolutely live this place. We have stayed in this unit before and love it. However we did not have any dish towels, the screen was ripped which left bugs in and our stove top didn’t function properly so we didn’t have that for the last two days. These are all fixable items and won’t keep us from staying again, but definitely things that should be addressed.

Comfy, cozy, and close to beach
Highly recommend the condo and loved that the beach was a minute walk and wasn't crowded. The area was very family oriented and good restaurants nearby. Only issue was resolved quickly (linens not changed/beds not made during arrival) I called Marisa who had a very friendly cleaning service out immediately. Will definitely stay here again hopefully this year.
I almost hate to rave about our wonderful Crescent beach vacation, cause I don't want the word to get out and the crowds come in...😊�

We loved the property. The condo was perfect for us. The view of ocean and pool was great. The beach is beautiful. Parking was ideal. We will definitely be back

This was our third stay at Coquina, and each one has been enjoyable. The agent, manager and owners do a good job of keeping the units clean and maintained. We have recommended this property to others, and we have already made reservations for 2020.
