Behind the church of San Lorenzo, in a typically small southern Italian town in the heart of unspoilt Salento, Studio Violetta is in a pretty flower filled courtyard with table and chairs. It has a wonderful high barrel vaulted ceiling and a huge stone fireplace. ‘Fiaschi’ bottles spot lit in alcoves enliven the Studio’s muted colours and stone walls.
Studio Violetta has a King size bed, seating for 2 and dining for 4 people. The kitchen area has all you will need from keeping your wine cool to rustling up a dinner for 4. There is a separate large shower room with twin sinks. Space outside to eat out either under the parasol or the stars where you will be surrounded by plants and seasonal herbs. There is also free Wi-Fi, a TV and DVD for your use. It is very stylishly decorated. Perfect for couples. The water is solar powered. Two ceiling fans keep you cool in the hotter months and there is central heating for when it is cooler.
Rentals are fully inclusive of cleaning and we also provide bed linen and towels.
Owners live next door and are on hand if required with ideas on where to eat, shop and discover. An ideal geographic location almost equidistant from the east, west and south coasts. Gallipoli on the Ionian coast is the place to go for nightlife and great beaches while the towns on the Adriatic to the east have a 'Greek' look – dazzling white against intense blue skies. This is a very cosy friendly place from which to explore it all.
Sogliano Cavour has local bars, restaurants and shops all within walking distance of Studio Violetta. You can also visit local markets and come home and perfect your Italian cooking skills.
Recommended for anyone wanting to escape the tourist track. Studio Violetta is in a great location for anyone wanting a taste of rural Italy, away from non-Italian tourists. A perfect holiday at a reasonable price.
Lots of unspoilt rocky or sandy beaches and friendly towns and villages to visit all year.
Walk, jog or drive to the nearby pine forest and visit the riding centre.

The towns of Galatina, Cutrofiano and Corigliano D’Otranto are all within a five minute drive or thirty minutes walk from Studio Violetta and all have a variety of cafe bars, restaurants and historic churches.
Lecce is an exciting place to visit and is only less than 25 minutes away by car. It is rich in historical and religious heritage and is known as the “Florence of the South” because of its baroque architectural style.
