This is a beautiful house, that is cleaned beyond an inch of it's life and maintained. GREAT LOCATION! NO CAR NECESSARY! Bring FIDO! This is a remodled 1926, side-by-side, Spanish HOME/duplex located in West Hollywood. Best of all is the location . Other homes on this street fetch $4million in the hot real estate market . Prime SPOT! However, on a quiet residential street, away from noisy Sunset Blvd and crowded apartment buildings of Santa Monica Blvd. But just close enough to all. Only a block and half from Melrose with all the fabulous restaurants, boutiques, coffee houses, Sunday flea market ,the PDC, Cedar Sinai Hospital, The Sunset Strip. Hiking up Runyon Canyon..all right there!

Transportation: Free Parking permits and Driveway parking! Guess what?... you can walk to the pick up spot for the Starline Hop On Hop Off bus tour, on Melrose. Perfect base for visiting our so-Cal family in Midtown LA and Pasadena. Conveniently located near many stylish restaurants on Melrose, Beverly, and 3rd--and close to our favorites, The Grove and Farmers Market, as well as Larchmont Village. Good base for tourists sightseeing farther afield--the beach at Santa Monica, Disneyland etc. Lovely, peaceful haven to return to after a day on the Freeways (!). LA traffic still and forever epic. Charming decor and as the French say, toutes les conforts--every comfort. Treesa is a gracious, sophisticated hostess and there are so many thoughtful touches.

We all have expectations, especially since LA is often staring in so many TV shows and movies, so I want my guests to feel they are a part of all that is happening- the minute they walk through the front door.

Some of our guests come for the excellent medical treatment here at the world renown hospitals, we are conscientious about the cleanliness needed and having a quiet place for recovery.

The eye for detail and demand for the best, drives me to meet every anticipated need of our visitors.

This area of West Hollywood has the best of what is offered. In this small city located in the metropolis, one can feel safe and at home. We are in a quiet part of the town, but are walking distance to what is happening and fun in this interesting and hip neighborhood. Close to The Pacific Design Center (The PDC), Directors Guild and Cedar Sinai Hospital, Lee Strasbourg Institute and the Hollywood Bowl is so very close. West Hollywood can be about late night bars and clubs, and while they are only a hop and a skip- we enjoy the serenity of the quiet coziness of a small town street and neighborhood.The Starline tour is around our area and it can be hop on... just a few blocks away.

ATTENTION for Cedars Sinai Hospital 1.6 mile You are greeted by a giant 200 year old, fir tree that shades and protects this house. Great wonderful neighborhood that is perfect for walking. Coffee shops, cafes, trendy boutiques ad just a block and half away. Sunset Blvd is close as is the Grove and Beverly Center. Whole foods is very close and you will love the upscale restaurants and comedy clubs in our immediate neighborhood. We will give you free West Hollywood parking permits, Outdoor dining and barbeques. ( gas and charcoal) The home comes equipped with all bed linens, towels and a very comfy aerobed that inflates with extra pillows and blankets for comfort sleeping. We offer a rollaway bed or a sleeper sofa. Our kitchen is stocked with coffee, teas, sweeteners, spices olive oil and vinegars. Cleansers and cleaning materials Bathrooms have luxury soaps, shampoos, body scrubs, special creams, and blow dryers. The home's atmosphere is one of a 5 star hotel

Lovely duplex in a perfect location

My husband and I drove down from Monterey County for our son's surprise 40th birthday party in Santa Monica. Three of our five kids live in the L.A. area, so this was a great location for us. Sitting on the front porch was relaxing and it is a peaceful, safe neighborhood for walking. We had a barbecue on the back patio with some of the family Saturday afternoon, before going to the party. Sunday, our son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter came over for the day. Due to my husband's health issues, it was nice to have a comfortable, spacious home to relax in, since we weren't there for doing any sightseeing. The home itself is lovely and we could not have had a nicer stay. Thank you!

Beautiful Casa Vista

My stay at Casa Vista could only be described as “beyond my expectations”. This was my first stay with Casa Vista. The photos are terrific, and the house is immaculate from top to bottom. To begin with, the location is marvelous. The house is located right between Melrose and Sunset. There are many great restaurants and even a handy drugstore (CVS), Deli's and grocery stores nearby. There is a gym (Equinox) also. The location itself is peaceful and quiet which was a welcome, I thought it would be a part of the excitement of LA. But I could leave my sweet space and go off to my meetings and events easily. Every morning started by opening the doors to a sunny day, there was ample room to sit on the front porch to have coffee. It is appointed very lovingly. I especially liked the walk-in closet and beautiful dining area. The kitchen had plenty of counter space, it is large and fully functional. And I was excited to have a washer and dryer. Technology-wise the house is very up to date. There is a DVD player, flat screen television, and strong hi-speed internet. The speed and connectivity is SIGNIFICANTLY better than many higher end hotels that I’ve visited. I had no issues streaming or downloading work attachments. There are security lights around the house and the neighborhood felt VERY safe! I felt comfortable walking the street later on at night. I had an opportunity to meet the owner on this trip and all I can say is that the home is a direct reflection of her. She was gracious and organized, providing me keys, parking pass, multiple books on the area and make sure my stay went smoothly. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful upkept landscaping...

The house is identical to the picture and neatly upkept. Upon arriving we did notice the basement screen to be ajar and alerted Treesa promptly as a safety concern. The location is ideal and walking distance to many stores and restaurants. The area rugs throughout the house are worn and dirty - they are in need of replacement and the plumbing is in delicate condition. The bathroom amenities provided were open and used including the bath soaps and shampoo so therefore we chose to use our own. If you intend on doing laundry you may want to bring quarters as the dryer is coin operated and takes 5 quarters. A note of interest during the weekdays we woke up to construction noise just outside our window as the unit next door is being renovated--this was not a huge issue since we were gone during the daytime hours. Also the suggestion to leave a tip for housekeeping should be included in the housecleaning fee charged. Overall we did enjoy our stay.

Owner's Response: Hi Kim, Thank you for the UP -kept accolades. Remember, I told you we don't have a basement- it was just the screen for the Gas Company to come read the meter. I know how nervous you were about all the safety factors.. but you need not worry when you come visit again as I will be sure to show you where the gas meter is. I rushed over to see if the throw rugs were dirty as you exclaimed, and I saw how you may have thought they were. The silver/ grey rug looks different in changing lighting and it can cast a hued sheen. I am a decorator so I take time to notice every detail. Our housekeeping service is top notch and we take pride in our clean homes. Throw rugs are cleaned after every stay, the larger are steamed cleaned often, so that gave me a nudge. I know you may not be use to our style of furnishings, we take pride in our exquisite antique look. Part Old World European, some handmade pieces from our local flea market and my own unique new style which is my signature which I offer to my ( celebrity )clients in their homes.. Most folks just throw together a vacation rental with Ikea, I feel as a designer that with some well loved pieces, it give our home a feeling of "soul". I know the tree trimming noise did start early, and for this I apologize..I will make sure they start later in the day next spring when we trim our trees! There is no construction next door. But West Hollywood is getting a new face lift like all the hotties in LA! Tips for service is always at the discretion of the guest, and only a suggestion. Sorry if that offended you. We like to keep the power of circulation in mind. All Good! Cheers and see you next visit to our beautiful city.. Treesa ps. I don't know how to address a shampoo bottle. We don't provide miniatures, but give generous sizes to assure it will last your entire stay, and it saves the plastic pollution too. :)

Treesa was thorough, nice and clear. The property is so cute, great interior! Beds were comfy, kitchen worked great, location is fantastic. I'd stay there again in a minute.

Charming hideaway

I brought a friend with me to LA, who had never been there before, to visit my son and we spent a week in this charming bungalow. This was a great location to easily get around. The house is just as pictured. The street out front can be busy but once inside you don't notice the noise. Parking was easy thanks to the provided parking passes. Bathrooms and kitchen are nicely updated and well stocked. There were a few negatives about our stay. Some of the furniture and rugs are in need of updating. I also didn't think it was our responsibility to bring in the trash cans from the street or start washing the sheets before we left, I'm on vacation plus that's why there's a cleaning fee. I wish I had reread the suggestions of where to go before arriving but there's always the next visit. In the pre-arrival email it states that we share the laundry and it should not be used after 8pm. The laundry was outside my bedroom door and I didn't appreciate the other renters doing laundry at 6:30 Saturday morning. Having said this I would definitely recommend this property to friends and would rent it again. This is the kind of house I would love to own!

Yes, the little throw rungs do get washed after every guest.. they are clean but they do get worn out fast. Ordering more on Amazon now.. thanks for the critique. I will be sure to include NO early morning laundry on our wish list as well.. We do implore respect from our neighbors at off hours. Our gardener comes to pick up the trash bins, however, I want to thank you for your assistance-- sometimes the trash man leaves them blocking the driveway, that why we inform our guest where they belong. Thanks for recommending My LA Home property to your friends and we look forward to your next visit. And yes, you can own a house like this.. there are so many in our special neighborhood.
