Amazing place paradise on earth
We love the place in the nature with the best ever view on the sea.
The owner is very kind you have the impression to be hosted by a friend.
Everything has been wonderful I really recommend this rental.
The villa is only 5 km away from the port of Livadi on a crescent shaped bay. the sea front board walk at Livadi offers a choice of restaurants, lounge bars and coffee shops, while several grocery stores, bakeries, butchers, fruit shops and a pharmacy are within walking distance from one another. hora – the “capital” town of serifos is a 10 minute car drive up the hill from livadi. hora is topped by the ruins of a 15th century venetian castle. a stroll through the winding streets of hora with its cube-shaped houses will let you discover chapels and windmills perched precariously and offering breathtaking views of the island.
the coastline of the island offers a diversity of easily accessible sandy beaches (Kalo Ambeli, Ganema, Vagia, Agios Sostis -where the villa is located, Psili Ammos, Ag. Ioanis, Sykamia). for those interested in hiking and exploring, there are several marked hiking paths which allow an inland discovery of the island with its many villages and monasteries. in the north of the island near the village of Galani, the fortified monastery Moni Taxiarchon (archangel), built in 1500, is run by a single monk. the monastery contains fine 15th century frescoes and rare byzantine manuscripts.
