Great house, great location!

  • 5 of 5

Loved this house and its location. Walked everywhere we wanted to go within the resort and to the beach as well. The marina was a great resource for activities----we choose creek fishing, parasailing and paddle boarding. Went into Charleston for sight seeing and dinner each night. Such a fun week!

Great location and very comfortable!

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed the close location to the beach and Wild Dunes! Overall we had everything we needed and had a great time going to the beach and the pool. There were a few maintenance issues, mentioned in previous reviews, (like lights not working, broken chair in Living Room and Master Bedroom bedframe). We loved being able to bring our pets!

Great location!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of four had a great week and loved the location of this house! Enjoyed the beach and marina (rented canoes) and sightseeing/shopping in Charleston. A favorite Charleston spot for us was the SC Aquarium, which is right on the harbor and has amazing views of the bridge --- lots of dolphin sightings too.

Needs handyman.

  • 3 of 5

Many things were not working properly.....bed frame was broke upstairs, ceiling fan in living room was broke..chair in living room was broke. Many lights were out with no light bulbs to replace. I think the owner needs to visit and go from room to room and make sure everything is in working condition.

Very nice

  • 4 of 5

My family and I really enjoyed our stay in this home. Very spacious and accommodating. We loved how the kitchen and living room flowed together as well as the large porches and short walk to the beach. My only complaints are that the oven takes forever to cook anything because their is no lower element. And the duvae along with the quilt on the bed in the upstairs master suite was absolutely covered in dog hair! Therefore we had to strip the bed and wash everything prior to sleeping in it. I felt this was something that should have been taken care of by the house cleaners before guests arrived. Lastly there is very limited parking, and be weary of parking on the street or across from the house, the IOP police gave us warning tickets for parking across the street but we had no other parking options. Overall we had a great stay in this home and I would recommend it to others.
