About Ray

I purchased my home on Pasatiempo to be able to enjoy the relaxing lifestyle of Palm Springs, to briefly escape the cold winters of Minnesota or just to come out periodically during the rest of the year with friends.

Why Ray chose Ruth Hardy Park

Movie Colony East (Ruth Hardy Park) is an area with very nice homes, close to downtown, airport, Ruth Hardy Park and has great mountain views!

What makes this house unique

The pool and hot tub are beautiful day and night with mountain views and quiet neighborhood. Most of the entertaining I do is out in the backyard. There is a shaded patio and open patio surrounded by well manicured landscaping. It is great to just lay out, dine outside or just read a good book.

Great stay!!!

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful vacation at this gorgeous property! The house is beautiful and so comfortable, stocked with everything you could possibly need. The pool and spa with waterfall feature made relaxing easy, and the setting is very private and quiet. Ray was such a pleasure to deal with from the start and we look forward to returning to this piece of paradise again soon!

Fantastic location, comfortable home with everything you need, and exceptional outdoor space.

  • 5 of 5

Private location with stunning mountain view yet close to everything you would want to see and do in Palm Springs. Great location in the Movie Colony for that true Palm Springs experience. Outdoor area is very attractive, well-landscaped, and suitable for dining, napping, chatting in a variety of spaces. Pool and spa were a welcome oasis in the warm sun. Kitchen had all the tools necessary to make great deals and the grill was very handy. Perfect place for two couples to share a vacation. The owner was very responsive and friendly, making the arrangements a breeze. We loved it and plan to return for a longer period of time.

(All the way from Richmond, Virginia).

Relaxation in the sun

  • 4 of 5

We had only 4 days here and quite enjoyed them. The house and pool are updated, the pictures are accurate. Furniture and appliances are all very nice and the beds comfortable. The neighbourhood is quiet and driving downtown takes only 5-10 minutes. We had a couple of minor issues with the pool and BBQ but they were dealt with smoothly. Our stay here was most enjoyable.

Charming, relaxing and close proximity to shopping, restaurants and golf! That pool and hot tub were so much fun. Having coffee oveooking the pool on quiet mornings was peaceful.

What a gem!

  • 5 of 5

We were a group of four adults that spent 10 days at this very pretty property in Palm Springs. We were so pleased with the home! It looked exactly like the attractive photos in VRBO. In addition, the home was very clean and well stocked with necessities like paper products and cleaning supplies. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of pillows. The outdoor living space was superb, including a generous covered area, really great outdoor furniture, and of course, the new pool and spa. The gardens clearly were lovingly planned, and immaculate.

The home is within walking distance of old Palm Springs, which we did on several occasions. The surrounding neighborhoods are very interesting to meander through as well.

The owner couldn't have been more delightful to work with. He was very quick to respond to questions, and refunded our damage deposit promptly.

I would absolutely stay here again!

Great Location, Stunning View, & Private

  • 5 of 5

The backyard is perfect! A view of the mountains, beautiful palm trees, and the heated POOL/SPA was made for relaxing. Although we had neighbors on all sides of us, it was still very private as the entire house was surrounded with a privacy wall and plenty of greenery. The neighborhood is quiet and made for a serene setting. The location was close to grocery stores, restaurants, parks, and the lovely strip of Palm Springs. It was also very easy to access main roads for day trips to Joshua Tree and the Empire Polo Club for Desert Trip music festival (Also the home of Coachella and Stagecoach music festivals). The homeowner Ray is ready to answer any questions you may have and was quick to return our deposit once our stay was over.

Overall an unforgettable vacation and we would not hesitate to stay here again!

TIP: Go watch the sunrise or sunset, or both in Joshua Tree if you can make the time. If not, the sunrise is still pretty awesome from the rental home.
