About the Property

You will not find a home any closer to the beach or with better pool and beach access than our home. You can literally throw a stone from the inside of the living room into the ocean.
Almost the entire 'ocean side' of the home opens up with retractable sliding glass doors so that the deck becomes an integral part of the living and dining areas. The deck is a fabulous 60' long and will be the focal point of your holiday. It is outfitted with 2 chaise loungers (with cushions), a sofa, 2 lounge chairs, 2 'pub' style tables with stools/chairs, a gas BBQ and more.
Although our unit is on the 1st floor the balcony is elevated about 9' above the pool deck and lounge area and the views are absolutely unobstructed (except for the odd palm tree). The pool and lounge areas are almost right underneath you and you can easily converse or watch family members either in the pool or at the pool deck from the balcony. Our unit is the only unit in the 30 unit Punta Arena complex that allows you to directly access the pool and ocean off your own private balcony. Security is provided by a private stairway complete with lockable gate.
Our home is very well furnished/outfitted and contains many items (and quality) not usually found in a rental/vacation property. The overall feel is that of a quality hotel. The kitchen and entire home is well stocked and lacks nothing. The furniture in the entire home was custom made and is rich, comfortable and practical. The towels, linens and bedding are all very good quality. Mattresses are all top line Sealy pillow-top. All three baths feature body wash, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers as well as hair dryers. Guests will have access to lots of little extras that we hope will make your holiday the best ever including: 2 boogie boards, soccer balls, pool umbrella, beach umbrella, and lots of kids and adult beach /pool toys.
Our home is unique that both of the 'master bedrooms' have absolutely unobstructed ocean views and direct access to the deck making it a great property for 2 couples both wanting a 'great sleeping room'. Both master bedrooms have; king beds, full en-suites, TVs with 'Starchoice', mini split air conditioners, and lots of closet space. The 3rd bedroom features a great child friendly bunk bed and a king bed that can 'split' into 2 twins.
Music and TV is provided by 'Starchoice'. DVDs or Satellite TV can be enjoyed in surround-sound. For those who need/like to communicate we have a great wireless internet for your own laptop, a fax/printer/scanner/copier combo unit, and a local phone.
Although our home features 5 remote controlled 'mini split' air conditioners it was designed with flow-through ventilation and stays very cool without any air conditioning. By simply opening both the ocean and the 'rear' windows the ocean breeze keeps each of the 3 bedrooms and main living/dining areas cool.
The beach is what you want; safe, sandy, and longer than what even the most aggressive walker/jogger could hope for. The surf varies from occasional 'surfboard' waves to the usual norm of mild 'boogie board' waves to quiet swells. The water in front is shallow, sandy, and perfect for kids.
Common amenities include an infinity edge pool, spacious lounge and social areas, gym, poolside showers, poolside washroom, and stairway from the pool deck down to the beach. Although crime is extremely low the property has security, remote controlled vehicle gates and locking/electronic pedestrian gates. 1 parking stall is provided with your accommodation but with the great location a rental car is not really required.
The maximum occupancy rate is 6 adults. We are very accommodating owners but will have zero tolerance for guests who are not honest with the number of occupants who will be in our home. Occupancy exceeding your registered limit will result in loss of damage deposit and ban from future rental. We may discount our rates for smaller groups with longer stays. If you have already been to the Bucerias area then no introduction to the charm and attributes are required. Punta Arena and our home is located 1 block south of the town center and at the south end of 'Restaurant Row' It is 2 properties south of the 'dry gulch' and the 'pedestrian bridge' to the markets and town center.
If you are not familiar with Bucerias it offers the very best of the Bay and the PV areas. You could stay a month and eat every meal out and never go to the same place twice. A great meal and a Corona at an ocean side restaurant can still be had for under $10.00. All the groceries you require for 'dining in' can be obtained at the local markets just a short walk away but if you are not that adventurous you can shop at WalMart, Costco, Sams, and Mega.
The accommodation is everything you would want and the the location is perfect for experiencing all than Mexico has to offer right at your doorstep. Bucerias is a great place and this is perhaps the finest unit in Bucerias. We hope you can enjoy our home for your holiday.
