Being in the travel industry people always ask me why we chose the Nicola Valley to build our family vacation home. The reason is simple, I have never before been to a place that is so unspoilt, pristine and beautiful and which has so much to offer to so many.
Bruce Seymour purchased this villa in 2007
Proximity to Vancouver.
Beautiful Scenery, clear blue sky, fresh air and a beautiful lake offering all sorts of watersports opportunities.
The unlimited on land outdoor activities, made possible by the many hours of sunshine, for example mountain biking, hiking, horseriding, golfing and many more.
Privacy, tranquility, and a healthy environment for your family vacations.
While this home is beautiful and is in a pristine setting I cannot recommend it to others. Our family stayed here twice. The first time was lovely. the second time the property manager told us air conditioning is never used and wouldn't help us work it. She also told us propane is not included with the BBQ. The VRBO
advertisement mentions air conditioning and a grill. Seems odd to think you might have to go get your own propane. The closest neighbours are very sensitive to noise and will complain. Granted we talked too late into the evening on the patio the first evening, and apologized for it. We were quiet for the rest of the stay. The property manager took money from our damage deposit for having to come over to tell us there was a complaint. In our opinion a damage deposit is for damage. It is not the guests responsibility to pay for the property manager's duties. She could have called to let us know and in fact had plans to come check in with us anyway as she wasn't there upon our arrival. Why charge us money when you were planning to come check in with us anyway. Be prepared to pay cash upon arrival to the property manager if you want to use the hot tub.
