Year Purchased: 1890
About the owner: I grew up in the summer time at Yellow House. At the time it was my grandmother's house. It has fortuitously remained in the family ever since. I am the 5th generation and my children the 6th generation to own and enjoy Yellow House. My family and I now enjoy it some of the time, but make it available to rent for others to enjoy.
Why the Owner Chose Damariscotta, ME, USA:
Yellow House was purchased by my great, great grandparents in 1890 for $1,000. It was built on the site of a former shipbuilding yard and sits directly on the River. It is unique and has appeared on the cover of many magazines. It stands as a trademark house of Damariscotta on the banks of the Damariscotta River.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Victorian ambiance inside and out! Quiet, but simple, easy access to Damariscotta village.
