Our home is a 3 bedroom plus den, 2 bath home located on Heart Lake in northern Minnesota, just 5 minutes away from the headwaters of the Mississippi River. This majestic home sits on 2 acres of land with 200 ft of lakeshore that will provide the perfect environment to unwind and enjoy your vacation. Our home has high cathedral ceilings in the living room, kitchen and dinning area with many windows to provide a great view of the lake and surrounding outdoors.
A private and quiet, secluded lake with great bass, northern pike, crappie and sunny fishing (you can catch keepers right off the dock). Take in the beautiful sunsets serenaded by the loons at dusk; watch the deer feed in the yard mornings and evenings. Listen to the birds sing in the morning and the frogs croaking at dusk. (get the picture?).
There are plenty of indoor activities too; movies, board games, puzzles, coloring books and crayons, cards, cribbage, chess. poker, Chinese checkers. After the daily activities sit around a crackling fire burning in the large stone fire pit. Cook burgers and hot dogs on the swing-out grill (don't forget the marshmallows). Relax in the 2 person Jacuzzi tub upstairs in the master bedroom suite.
Or just take a blanket to lay on and gaze at the stars.
