Beautiful 'Old North End Cottage' downtown Colorado Springs 3bed 1.5bath
average rating of 4.8 based on 35 reviews

Our family enjoyed this charming home in a very nice neighborhood.

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed the amenities that this home provided. Plenty of room and comfortable beds. Everything you might need was stocked in the kitchen. The management was readily available to answer any questions and provide assistance. The only reason for not rating it a five star is that there were not enough towels as there were seven in our party. Overall I totally recommend this property and recommend using VRBO.

Charming cottage with a basement bedroom

  • 3 of 5

The wife loved it. She said it was a very charming house. The kitchen was well equipped with everything a person needs. The grill on the deck was excellent. I was disappointed with the 3rd bedroom & 1/2 bathroom. I don't recall reading anywhere in the description that the 2 twin beds are in the basement & the only way into the 1/2 bath is through this bedroom. It is dark & loud (from the furnace) in the basement with absolutely no natural light. There are no egress windows in this room. After reviewing the photos I see now that it is a basement but it would have been nice to fully disclose this in the add.

Don was very easy to work with. We did have a couple of issues at the beginning of our stay but the property managers were very prompt at remedying them.

Charming home and wonderful stay!

  • 5 of 5

Our group had a wonderful time at the home and wished we had more time there together. We spent much time on the back patio drinking our morning coffee and sharing meals with our friends. The backyard was also good space for our almost 2 year old son to roam around with his trucks. Plenty of space in each of the rooms for us all and lots of closet space too. There was a highchair in the home too! We very much appreciated that. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast and a big lasagna dinner! The muffins were a nice touch and enjoyed by all. We will definitely bookmark this home for future stays!

3rd year; love the location!!

  • 4 of 5

We spend hours per day on the front porch. It rains almost daily in July when we are there. The covering over said porch leaks thus preventing us from enjoying the scenery.

Owner's Response: We as well enjoy relaxing on the porch during all types of weather however the metal awning was never designed to keep the porch dry during rain. To say it is leaking implies that the awning is in some sort of disrepair or damaged, which it is not. We just wanted to clarify this for our future guests. We always appreciate all comments about the Cottage so we can keep it in the best possible condition for everyone. Thank you, Don and Mary
