Very spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom penthouse which sleeps 2 to 8 plus cot

Stunning 5 star designer penthouse only a 10 minutes walk to Princes Street, with private parking for 2 cars, and balcony. Designer furniture throughout, e.g. large eating kitchen designed by The Queen's cabinet maker with everything you could possibly need including Bosch dishwasher, double ovens, freezer, fridge, washer, drier etc. Beautiful lounge + stunning designer leather sofa (one sofa bed) + dining-table. Large master bedroom with commissioned bed + en-suite double walk-in shower. 2 other good sized bedrooms. Sleeping arrangements can be altered to suit guests wishes. Stunning bathroom, with bath/ 2nd shower.Very luxurious, 42' Plasma TV, cable TV, Plasma TV/Blu-Ray player in lounge and in all 3 bedrooms, over 250 movies, lots for young families + baby equipment. Wi-fi Internet access.

In addition to the facilities within The Penthouse itself, we also have arranged access for our guests to use the first class facilities at Virgin Active Omni Centre private gym and swimming pool during their stay, it’s only a 5 minute walk from The Penthouse. There is a £10 charge per person each time they use the facilities. Please note that Virgin Active don't allow children under the age of 16 to use any facilities.

Ideal for a romantic break for 2 right up to a family reunion, with accommodation for an extended family. Excellent location for sightseeing, many of the main tourist attractions within short walk.

The owners' personal and prompt attention from the moment of inquiry promised an outstanding experience; we were not disappointed. The size, layout, and facilities were perfect for our group of eight, which ranged in age from 10 months to nearly 70. Nearby markets--from small shops to gourmet fare--as well as excellent carry-out options within a five-minute walk made it possible to have nearly all meals in the well-appointed Penthouse without missing out on local flavors and culture. The middle generation also had a great night out within easy walking distance. The nearby playground and easy bus to the zoo were a plus; the walk to Holyrood and Royal Mile was pleasant for those who like to explore on foot. The owners go out of their way to make guests comfortable--and even pampered.

Right in the centre of Edinburgh only a 10 minute walk to princes street, and Waverley train station. Located in a very safe exclusive development, so ideal for families as good part of town to walk at any time of the day or night. Off the main roads so quiet with no passing traffic. The penthouse has its own parking, however once you've parked your car you probably won't use it as sightseeing can easily be done by foot. Excellent public transport only a couple of minutes walk away. Ideal location for sightseeing. The Playhouse theatre, and an Omni Multiplex cinema complex, are only a 5 minute walk away. Many restaurants, bars, shops etc as all within short walking distance. Supermarket only a 2 minute walk away.

Notes:
The sleeping arrangements can be varied considerably. The master bed is for a couple, whereas the second bedroom can be set-up as either a twin, i.e. two single beds, or as a super-king bed. The third bedroom is fixed as a twin bedroom. There is also a £6000 leather double sofa-bed in the lounge. If separate beds are required for 8 guests, or guests choose not to use the sofa-bed in the lounge, the owner does offer the option of using 2 full size, height etc, and electronically inflatable airbeds. All the equipment needed for a baby is included, i.e. cot (but without any bedding per health and safety requirements), stair-gate, high-chair, potty etc. plus, other than the bedrooms, all the flooring is either wood laminate or amtico, so ideal for any spillages etc, as easily maintained. In lounge 42' Plasma TV, with cable TV + Freeview, and free wi-fi internet broadband. Plasma / LCD TV + DVD in every bedroom. Free weekly maid service provided for guests staying more than 10 nights

The Penthouse Edinburgh

Eddie made our stay extremely easy with all the notes and detailed folder of how to's. The property is in a very secluded complex close to some great restaurants, local shops & transport. A brief walk to all of the above made our first trip to Edinburgh an easy one to navigate.

The Penthouse is very secure and we felt very safe at all times. We had two couples in the unit but it could have adequately slept 3 couples or a family of 6. The space we had meant we were able to spread ourselves out and could sit quietly without worrying we were going to disturb the couple we travelled with.

The cooking facilities in the kitchen and the variety of utensils meant we wanted for nothing. The lounge room had a broad selection of DVD's if ever we needed to simply sit and relax in the unit.

Eddie left the most delicious selection of jams, teas, bread cheese and wine which meant we could really relax when we first arrived before heading the local Coop to fill the fridge.

The rooms we large, the beds comfortable and instructions for use of everything was great. Thanks for everything would truly recommend a stay and would stay there again ourselves

Amazing!

This was our first trip to Scotland and we were super excited to stay at this property. Before our arrival the owner of the property made contact with us via email as well as phone calls. The owner of the property is absolutely awesome. He is extremely conscientious and his whole purpose is to ensure that anybody that stays there or visits Scotland has the most amazing time. He went far and above to ensure that the house was ready for us even allowing us to do an early checkin. Before our arrival he provided us with numerous documents indicating the best restaurants the best activities maps of Scotland and other documents that were very very helpful.

The house is exactly as it is represented on the website. There were absolutely no surprises. It was just as beautiful as the picture show. It is in a fantastic location and is very comfortable.

I highly recommend this property to anybody that is visiting Edinburgh for the first time or coming back to visit again.

The property owner really went far and above to ensure that we had a little gift basket as well as food in the refrigerator and all the documents that we needed to ensure that we had the best time ever.

He was also very prompt and all of his responses and very accommodating in any way. I 1000% recommend this property

Great accommodation

Host Eddie really cares that his guests are comfortable and feel at home. It is a great property if you rare traveling with a family or group. The market and restaurants are a short walk. Less than a mile from Waverly train station.

Fabulous Family Option

We found this apartment situated in a quiet neighborhood at a walkable distance from Princess Street and the Royal Mile to be very accommodating. It was spotless and well stocked for our family of six with three kids under 12 and my mother. There was a nice selection of DVDs and games for the before and after touring hours. We had dinner in one evening with a ver reasonably priced private chef recommended by the owner who cooked homemade pasta with our kids. The owner couldn't have been more available before and during our stay for questions and recommendations for high-quality restaurants both near and far from the apartment. We had a car, which was easy to park on the complex and was not moved for the length of our stay in Edinburgh. We got around fine on foot/bus/taxi depending on where we were going--we mostly walked and enjoyed doing it, other than heading to Dean for an afternoon. We would stay again if in town.

Superb apartment in Edinburgh

An extremely well-appointed "home from home" property. Every aspect was thoughtfully considered, from the flexible sleeping arrangements, to the fully equipped kitchen, a spacious and relaxing lounge and dining area. Mr Ewen provided personal recommendations on excursions, taxi companies, private chef and a multitude of alternative experiences to enjoy in and around Edinburgh. this reassured us that we had made a brilliant discovery when we booked this property. Mr Ewens attention to detail, catering for our every requirement and being on call to answer any questions was marvellous.
