About The Owner

I love to travel and take every opportunity to hop a plane and discover new places. I'm an avid golfer and always look forward to playing a round of golf every chance I can get. I recently started my own business, which allows me the freedom to do a lot of things that I wouldn't normally be able to do if I still worked in the 'real world'. My business is focused around helping others become healthy and making our planet and our homes a better place to live. I believe we owe it to ourselves and our children to live healthy lives, free from chemicals, toxins and disease. I'm truly blessed to be able to do what I enjoy, and help others make a better life for themselves and their family.

The Owner purchased this house in 2006

Why The Owner chose Phoenix

I used to come to Phoenix a lot on business and I liked it so much that I decided to buy a home here. My house is located in the South Mountain Foothills which makes it a relaxing retreat as well as accessible to a lot of fun things to do. There is the South Mountain Park/Preserve which boasts 51 miles of primary trails for horseback riding, hiking and mountain biking for all ability levels. The Foothills golf course is just minutes from the house as well as many other fabulous courses throughout the valley to challenge your game. Just a mile up the road you will find the amenities of a small community with a grocery store, banks, gas stations, drug store, hardware store, restaurants and shopping. The house is located 18 miles from the Phoenix airport with easy access to the freeways which will have you in Scottsdale in 25 minutes, Downtown in 25 minutes, Tucson in 1 hour 30 minutes, Sedona in 2 hours 15 minutes, Flagstaff in 2 hours 30 minutes and Grand Canyon in 4 hours. There is so much to choose from while visiting Arizona, you will never run out of things to see and do.

Great Vacation Home

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed all aspects of our stay. The house was very comfortable and cozy. The lemon tree was an added bonus we did not expect. The hot tub was well maintained and the back yard landscaping was gorgeous. Michele was very pleasant to deal with. If we have need in the future of a rental house in the Phoenix area we would definitely try to rent this one.

Wonderful home and owner!

  • 5 of 5

This house was absolutely beautiful and well decorated. It was perfect for our family. The backyard was outstanding and the pool was great as it was extremely hot outside. The neighborhood was very quiet and we were close to groceries, gas, and shopping.

Michele was amazing to work with and was very kind in leaving us a "welcome basket" brimming with goodies as well as beverages. Information about the house and area was well laid out in a binder so we could function just like we would at home.

We were attending our son's wedding and we were all able to spend the week together before the wedding. It was so nice to be able to relax and enjoy this beautiful home at a time that could have been stressful. We would highly recommend staying here and we fully intend to return and enjoy it again!

Great Spring Break

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our time at this home. We had never been to Phoenix before but now that we have we would pick this home again. It was the perfect location for us. Far enough removed from all the congestion, but very close to I-10 making it easy to get to various other areas of the city. It is very close to all the convenience shopping you need, (groceries, pharmacy, restaurants, etc.), has great running trails all around, and a wonderful park is nearby with a playground, baseball fields and tennis courts. If you like hiking there's a great trailhead nearby at the base of the South Mountain. The house itself fit our family of 6 (4 kids under 12) perfectly. I would say it could comfortably house 8 people. The bed in the master was so comfortable my daughter wanted to switch bedrooms with us. Michele is very accommodating. She allowed us to arrive mid-week during Spring Break - not many rental homes are flexible like that (many insist on Sat. to Sat. or Sun. to Sun.). She gives instructions for everything and provided all the information you could possibly need, such as what day is garbage pick-up, lawn care, etc. Everything is labeled VERY well - there's no way you won't know which remote to use. She also provided a great welcome basket when we arrived, so if like us, you get in late and can't get to the grocery store you are not arriving to a barren pantry/refrigerator. We used the backyard a lot during our stay, barbecuing and eating on the porch, picking lemons from the lemon tree to make lemonade, and even swimming (the pool was not heated and in late March the water was still quite frigid so that may or not be an issue depending on the time of your stay). If you're looking for a place walking distance to shopping/dining/nightlife, then this probably won't suit you but if you're looking for a comfortable, quiet home to use as your base to explore the city then you will be pleased.

SECOND VISIT JUST AS WONDERFUL AS THE FIRST!

  • 5 of 5

In August, I and my girlfriend and her two young children stayed at Michele's house for the second time in six months. Once again, everything was perfect upon our arrival. On this visit, we did little to no sightseeing. We hung out at the house the whole week. We greatly enjoyed playing in the pool all day long. From cooking meals to watching movies to getting a great night's sleep, everything about the house was perfect. We have come to think of Michele's house as our home away from home! Thanks (AGAIN!) Michele.

We are spoiled forever

  • 5 of 5

This was our first time renting a house for vaca, and we are ow spoiled forever. Michelle gave us an experience by which all others will be forever judged by.To give some background, we are a couple in our 40s with children under 10. I personally am a hotel snob by my own admission. I could build a vacation idea around where a Four seasons hotel can be found. The walk up to the house waas a stressful one...We held our breath to open the front door, only to come home. The decorations of the house were charming and WARM. Michelle went OUT OF HER WAY to make us feel as if we had left our worries behind. The kitchen was fully stocked, the refrigerator was overflowing with groceries. She asked specifically what we'd liek to drink to ensure wine and even chocolate milk were there. The kitchen had all kinds of gadgets I wanted to play with. It was like testing things out before buying! There was every spice I coudl have wanted. I appreciated all the organic items in the kitchen, and the "green"detergents for cleaning up.Michelle took great care to make a lovely backyard be so inviting to guests. You could see into the nieghbors' yards from the upstairs master bath and our backyard was in comparisona lil piece of heaven. Even the little patch of lawn, which was all i needed to do yoga on, was the most perfect patch of lushness. The pictures in no way do the place justice. Even the soaking tub had a basket of delightful bath products to use. The office area was so appreciated as I needed to get a little bit of work done, and we also found it helpful to research/print directions etc.Michelle, thank you for making it a wonderful week for us. We'd liek to come back to your home in the future

Best House in the Area

  • 5 of 5

My golfing buddies and I have been going to Phoenix for the last 15 years and we rent private homes. We're life long friends and enjoy each others company. This is the finest home by far out of all the rentals in Phoenix. The owner is a jewel to work with and very accommodating. We would definitely recommend this house and will be back in the future. I would love to keep this a secret...... Because the home and the owner are so darn nice.
