We stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed ourselves. We were able to relax and connect with each other and nature. The hot tub was a great bonus. We even got to see a cow and calf walk to the creek to get a drink. Very quiet and peaceful!
The quiet and seclusion were just what we needed to escape every day life. We built a fire, relaxed in the hot tub, LOVED gazing at the stars, saw deer, watched the cows in the yard, cooked on the grill, slept in, had coffee on the porch. So relaxing and no agenda! It’s rustic and very country and we were looking forward to that. Bring everything you need because nothing is close. The only draw back which was nothing that could be helped on a well was that the water smelled of Sulphur. We will definitely be back the first chance we get!
This was our second visit to the little cabin, it is very relaxing, clean, and has everything that you could need for a weekend getaway. It is very well maintained and it definitely will be a spot we will return to.
I really enjoyed the property. The cabin was perfect for a couples weekend. We have stayed in Smithville before and we absolutely love the area. My biggest complaint was the smell of the water. Understandably it's sulphur water so
This is perfect if you are looking for a quiet getaway. It is quiet and secluded except for a cat, wild pigs and some cows which were welcome. Highly recommended. The only downfall was the sulfur water smell. We will be back.
We really enjoyed our stay here. It was nice and quiet with all the amenities we needed. There is even a small creek to explore. The inside of the cabin was super cozy! Would definitely book again.
This property is secluded, yet, well in driving distance of area attractions and activities. I have a Jeep and there are many nearby trails to explore. The cabin is clean and well kept. Nice to come back to after a day surrounded by people.
The cabin is so nice and clean and quiet no traffic away from the world of hustle and bussle time stuff still for me I love the hot tub on the patio. It was just great. Only one complaint Internet was out the whole stay. But other then that. It was great
This is such a cute cabin. Our older kids brought a tent n "camped out" the creek is literally right there. Owner even brought us some farm fresh eggs. Theres so much to explore. The only downside is well water n it stunk like sulphur. The water hose didnt so that was a plus. And we all enjoyed the hot tub
The cabin was very nice and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and listening to the birds and the creek flowing. The hot tub, creek and campfire even got the kids off of their phones quite a bit! Such a great getaway from the city! The hosts were super friendly and helpful! We hope to visit again when we can stay a bit longer! Thanks for a lovely visit!
We stayed at this quaint little cabin for our anniversary. We wanted the beauty of Broken Bow, but with way more privacy & seclusion. This was definitely everything we wanted & more. Cabin is perfect for just 2 & we truthfully didn't even spend that much time indoors anyways. Kitchen is stocked with necessities, so is the bathroom. We packed as if we were going camping, so we weren't lacking anything between what they had stocked & what we brought. There is plenty of area to explore & hike around. We enjoyed seeing the cattle, collecting pine cones, exploring the creek, sitting around the fire & just enjoying nature. Cabin was nice & clean, & the hot tub is nice especially on a chilly evening. We loved our stay & are hoping to return. We didnt get the chance to meet the owner, but we dropped our bags & went exploring immediately so I think we missed them. Everything was as advertised though, & we highly recommended for those wanting to reconnect with nature & the quiet!
The cabin was small and comfortable. Perfect size for my wife and I. We were able to sit on the back porch, overlooking a creek and listen to the cows that are on the property. It rained thebentire stay, but that made it that much better. Nothing like having the back doors open and listening to the rain while you relaxed. This cabin is back in the woods. It is about 4 miles off any paved road and i think we seen, maybe 5 vehicles, over a 4 day stay. Take some groceries with you and you wont have to go anywhere! A small stove and fridge are there, great for cooking breakast and smaller meals. For my wife and i, it couldnt had been a better get away.
We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was cozy but great for just me and my husband. The hot tub was awesome. It was close enough for us to go to the lake and hiking and out for dinner in hochatown but far enough away for us to feel the secluded relaxation we desired. Taking one star off the review because the cabin could use some updating, especially in the bathroom, where the floor is very unsteady and I almost fell. However even with that being said, we would stay again.
