About the property

House, 4 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths, (Sleeps 8)

Located in the Twin Bridges area on a quiet cove off Little River Trail, this beautiful lake cabin sleeps 8. It has a large boat dock/house which is in 7'-10' water at the end of dock and has a double slip with lifts for boats. There are steps going down into the water in a safe place for wading and for children to play. The dock also has a bench swing where one can relax in the shade while watching water activities. There is also a small row boat for our guests to use.

The master bedroom has its own balcony and the master bath has a 2 person Jacuzzi.

Little River Get-Away is the perfect place to come and unwind from stress and from the busy, hectic society! Wake up to the sun shining off the water into the room and sit back for a second cup of coffee! Perfect spot for waterskiing, jet skiing, swimming... or just fishing (don't forget the fishing tournaments on our lake!!)or reading a book. Lake Sinclair keeps a steady water level so it is ready for you to come and enjoy!

** Nothing like Thanksgiving or Christmas on the lake. But don't forget the beauty of fall reflected on the water!

About Pam Parrish

I am a former school teacher who knows how to make the most of vacation time :) , a mother of 4, grandmother to 6, always loved the outdoors, and enjoys sharing with others.

I have used and still use VRBO many times for our own family travels and love the hominess it offers rather than the hotel atmosphere.

Why Pam Parrish chose Metro Atlanta, Central & Southern

I lived close to Atlanta for 20+ yrs, raising 4 children, when I discovered this quiet, unrushed beauty on Lake Sinclair. Here I found it to be uncrowded and safe. We all love(d) to waterski, tube, fish and swim so it became our perfect 'little get-away.' Fishing has been a great excuse to sit 'quietly' and 'still.' Sitting on the dock swing helps me unwind as I watch the fish jump or hear the birds sing.

I have remarried and relocated to McDonough, GA, so we come to the lake as often as we can.

I have 5 wonderful grandsons and a beautiful granddaughter to keep me busy, three of them being serious little fishermen. They all love the water and boat.

What makes this house unique

Our lake house is close to both Eatonton and Milledgeville, easily accessible from the Macon area as we are close to 129, which goes directly to Grey and is on the northern part of the lake making it closer to the Atlanta or Athens area.

Peaceful Family Fun

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful little cottage!!! Upon walking in we were greeted with a beautifully decorated Christmas trees which kept everyone's spirits high. The kitchen was well stocked and plenty of room to sit our family of 8. The dock was a great hideaway for those who wanted some quiet time or to throw a line in the water. Pam was very attentive and made sure we had an at home experience with a beautiful view! We will definitely be back!!

Home Away From Home

  • 5 of 5

We were so pleased to have found this vacation home. It truly was a home away from home for us. We arrived the day after Christmas to beautiful Christmas lights and decor lit and beautiful. The house was cozy and peaceful- SO peaceful! The scenery was perfect. Each bedroom was perfect for each of our children. There were games and movies to choose from, a stocked kitchen, and soft throw blankets on the couches. The dock was amazing. We hung out on the dock (where my husband did lots of fishing), and on the back porch often. Thank you Pam for allowing us to use your little boat. This was a great vacation- definitely one to remember. We plan on coming back!

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. We would love for you to make it a tradition. Our cove is usually very quiet and peaceful. Makes it safe for fishing and swimming or just relaxing like you said down at the dock. I enjoyed the sweet note left by one of your children too. Made my day!

I will highly recommend this getaway to other family members. We hope to come back soon, it truly was a lovely vacation here.

Wonderful getaway for lots of relaxation and fun!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Little River Getaway. My husband and I spent the week here with my parents and siblings joining us for the weekend. When we arrived, the house was clean and everything was as described. The house is cozy enough for a couple to relax, and still big enough for a whole family to have fun. We all really enjoyed the dock. With the covered boat slip, porch swing, diving board, and lots of room on the sunbathing part of the dock, there was room for 7 adults and 1 kid to have plenty of room. It was also very nice to have floats and chairs that we were able to enjoy, not to mention the paddle boat. I would recommend bringing a trolling motor to hook to it if you plan to use it much. We fished, swam, rode jet skis, boats, tubed, knee boarded, and more. The house is in a cove which makes it safe to let little ones swim without worrying about traffic and just outside the cove is plenty of open water for tubing and other water sports. I really liked the private deck off of the master bedroom too. It gave just the right amount of privacy without loosing any of the wonderful lake view. The kitchen came fully equipped with everything we needed to cook several meals during our stay. Pam was absolutely wonderful and made our stay great! The only problem is that we couldn't stay longer, though we are already planning our next trip!

Great place for a nice relaxing weekend

  • 4 of 5

My wife and group of friends recently stayed at the Little River Getaway and had a great time over too short of a weekend. We found the bedrooms to be accommodating and the living space was perfectly sized for our group of 8. The covered dock was fabulous, especially the porch swing and the diving board, which the little ones loved.

We had one minor issue during our stay there but it certainly wasn't enough to make us think twice about staying at this property again in the future. Thanks Pam!

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your visit! And for letting me know about the ants. We got our bug control people out today. They come out on a scheduled time throughout the year and your helping by letting us know also helps get the situation taken care of. Looking forward to having you back Pam
