2 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths, sleeps 4-5
Jeff is a Boston area architect/contractor and resident of Concord for over 20 years. He designed and restored the cabin on his own, working weekends over the course of three years. Initially, his wife was very reluctant, but once done, she is now the cabin's biggest fan. As it was designed and built for his family, Jeff has left no detail undone.
Jeff purchased this Cabin in 2005
Why Jeff chose Granville
This area of Vermont is close enough to Boston (less than 3 hours), yet far enough to be in the heart of pristine Vermont. Jeff has been coming to this area since the mid 1970's and dreamed of having a retreat here for 35 years. Skiing is only 15-30 minutes away, and several romantic villages are nearby, giving endless options to explore and enjoy. Being on 10 acres and in Granville, it is also very private and peaceful. Often we just spend the weekend there, relaxing and basking in the cabin's great light and warmth.
What makes this Cabin unique
Although the existing cabin was in sad repair, Jeff saw the potential, the views, and had the vision, tools and skills to make it happen. It is now our favorite place to be and we have established many great relationships there. It is a very active and engaging community, which we love being a part of and welcome others to share in, too!

Very Happy with Our Stay
The Cabin was fantastic and the area had alot to offer. We enjoyed the hiking trails and the beautiful scenery and the cabin was the perfect place to relax and get away.
Fantastic all around
Excellent location, home, extras.
We had a great time at this beautiful cottage perfect gateway from the hectic City life, perfect for family bonding. The owner was great left detailed instructions in the cabin he also a guide book that covers every activity you can think of in the area swimming, hiking, restaurants etc.. highly recommend.
awesome cabin! great property!
My family and I stayed at the cabin for a week in August! The cabin and grounds were perfect. We really loved the hot tub, movie theater, trails on the property, and reading nook in the living room. There are many points of interest nearby. Lastly, Jeff was so helpful prior to our stay and an awesome host overall. We will definitely be back!
Thank you so much, Jess. We are very glad you had such a great stay and do our best to make it fun for everyone who visits. Please come back!
Our favorite place
This is our third year (of hopefully many more to come) vacationing at Jeff's cabin. Our family of two adults, 2 children, and one small dog always feel at home there. My boys love all the local swimming and the hammock chair on the porch. My husband and I love how neat, clean, and private the property is. Jeff is so easy to work with and has thought of everything you will need on your getaway. I can't recommend this house enough. We absolutely love it there.
Thank you Dan and Nicole for the kind words and we love having you back!
Great little cabin
Wonderful place to stay when visiting the area. Cabin was great. Nice and quiet location surrounded by woods. Only small quibble was the quality of the shower, especially the wide spray shower head, Loved this place and would come back again.
Thank you for the nice review and letting me know about the shower. I cleaned the sediment out of the head and it now works much better, thanks.
Located in central Vermont, 1/2 mile off Rt. 100, alongside the Green Mountains. Just a half hour off the interstate and convenient to skiing, hiking, kayaking, relaxing and many other outdoor activities. Enjoy great nearby skiing or stay on the property and have a fun weekend tubing, tubbing and/or snowshoeing through the woods and open fields. In the summer, there are the Farmers Markets in Waitsfield and Rochester, amazing swimming holes, tubing on the rivers, as well as the peace and serenity that comes with being located in the pristine, undeveloped White River Valley.
Other Activities: x-country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, badminton and tetherball right on the property.
Golf: Sugarbush has a beautiful 18 hole course, while White River Golf Club offers 9 holes at a tremendous value only 15 minutes away.
Ski: Sugarbush and Mad River Glen, two of Vermonts best areas are only 25 minutes away, and Middlebury Snow Bowl, Vermonts best value, is only 15 minutes away.
