About Christine

About the Homeowners:

When we first left in 2001 we rented our home on yearly basis. However, our children later confided that the only thing that made them unhappy about being full time cruisers was not being able to stay in our home when we visited Bay Ridge. That is when we decided to explore renting our home on a weekly basis. So far it has worked beautifully. We have been able to share our home with others, pay for some of the overhead and enjoy staying in our home and lovely community when visiting Annapolis.

About At Home - Annapolis:

Christine with At Home - Annapolis has been managing this home for 10 years. She knows every detail and nuance of the home and community. Please feel free to give her a call directly so that she can answer your questions. 410-320-3228.

Christine purchased this house in 1993

Why Christine chose Annapolis Cove

Shortly after 9/11 we decided to take time with our family and go on a sailing adventure with our two children, ages 2 and 5 years. Our original plan was to sail for two years and then return to our home in Annapolis. The two year plan has since been extended to the present and will continue until our thirteen year old enters high school in the fall of 2010. We have had the wonderful opportunity to sail through the Bahamas, Caribbean, and Mediterranean Seas. Our ambition is to go through the Panama Canal and across the Pacific this next spring.

Perfect house for our family of 12

  • 5 of 5

We had a group of 6 adults and 6 kids and the house has plenty of room for all of us. The house is even nicer than the pictures and the pool/yard is beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet and safe which made it perfect for walking, running and bike riding. We saw a lot of deer and even a few foxes during our stay. The location is great for heading to Annapolis or over the bridge to Kent Narrows. Also only 45 minutes from D.C. and Baltimore. Christine and Katie took great care of us and were quick to answer any questions or concerns.

The only thing I would suggest is there be a few fishing poles, bikes, kayaks/paddleboards and lawn games. Renting these items for a week are very expensive around Annapolis.

If we ever vacation in the Annapolis area again, we would choose this house in a heartbeat!

Ideal end of summer getaway

  • 5 of 5

118 River Rd. is simply terrific. It's located perfectly in an idyllic community about a 10 minute drive outside of downtown Annapolis. The home is pristine in a lived-in kind of way. There is nothing sterile or "rental" about it. Walking in, one feels as though the homeowners have perhaps just stepped-out. The house is welcoming and warm. The in-ground swimming pool is plenty long for exercise, and deep enough for diving and hours of fun for all. The hot tub is added benefit-it get's pretty hot. The neighborhood is ideal for walking, jogging, bicycling-all passersby are friendly and unobtrusive. We would without hesitation consider another week, or two, at 118 in the future. Thank you Christine and Katie!!

Best Ever

  • 5 of 5

Our three-generation brood of 16 enjoyed this home on River Drive, Annapolis, for nine delightful days in July 2016. We have over 10 years’ annual experience in large VRBO homes, from three in our home state of California, to Hawaii, Maui, Kauai, and Outer Banks, to name several locales. The informal vote was River Drive was the best of all, and there was some stiff competition. The size of the group could be a factor. Two teen girls slept in the Sun Room, one granddaughter slept on a couch downstairs, and a grandson on an air mattress. Not one complaint from those grandkids. The pool is a rarity in that part of the world, and was a god send. The spacious kitchen was the general meeting area and it was the best equipped kitchen we have ever experienced. The water view is mesmerizing, the only downside is a mid-day nap can easily overtake one while enjoying that view. Washington, D.C., is an easy jaunt (one hour even during rush traffic). We had access to a jet ski and rented a power boat one afternoon, so water activities were common, followed by pool time, and board games in the big kitchen area after dinner. Tellingly, the big screen TV was turned on for only two hours to watch a particular program in the entire nine days. The neighborhood is charming, quiet, and highly walk-able. The athletes in the family went for longer runs. Lastly, the property manager was the most cooperative and helpful we have ever dealt with – simply superb. We highly recommend this home.

Amazing Family Vacation!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 13 just returned from a wonderful week at this gorgeous home. The house is outstanding with a well-equipped large eat-in kitchen, a formal dining area, a comfortable sitting room overlooking the water, and a spacious and bright family room. In addition, there is a large in ground swimming pool that we enjoyed immensely. The view from the front deck is absolutely amazing! Excellent attention from the management. Would definitely return.
