Terrible communication and confused property description
Communication with host terrible. On line chat is ignored, emails ignored, phone calls all went to ansa machine.
The listing is misleading. Before booking couldn’t work out whether it was definitely a top floor flat, from the badly translated description. I asked for clarification but got no response. On arrival... that’s another story.... I found it was a converted cellar down dark, narrow, concrete steps, with broken ironwork edging strips that stuck out making it quite hazardous if you didn’t have a torch. ( from inside the view was of these steps and an arrangement of toilet brushes and ashtrays.) When it rained the gutter split onto the steps so you got wet walking under. The flat had no internal doors - so really a studio apartment and had no curtains. My son was to sleep on the sofa bed but it wasn’t fit for purpose having an extraordinarily deep dent running the length. It was too narrow to sleep to one side of this gully, so I had to pack it with two rolled up bath towels! If you don’t mind that then take an eye mask as this area has a glass roof and every time the neighbour switches his light it is flooded with light. Fortunately this upstairs neighbour kept reasonable hours as the noise insulation was minimal. When they were in you could here every footfall.
On arrival you are asked to text or ring your greeter. My txts got no response and phone calls went to ansa machine. Fortunately we did eventually a response but not until stressed out thinking we wouldn’t be met. Exit was just as bad. Your instructions are to empty dish washer and the kitchen bin. No where could I see what to do with the keys. I didn’t know if someone would come to the flat or I should just leave the keys somewhere. I emailed and txted two days before departure to ask for clarification. I didn’t get a response. I rang at 9am in day of departure .. got the ansa machine.. Waited and eventually someone arrived, with no ID but we gave them the key. An hour an a half after we had left we finally got a txt response from the office... saying to just leave the keys! Don’t expect a relaxing stay!
