Beautiful Marsh Views Under Centuries Old Oak Trees

Bedrooms 3
Property type house
Minimum Stay 3 nights

About the property

House, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6 adults)

Welcome to Marsh Oaks! Newly renovated, watch the sun set over the beautiful Marshes of Glynn, under hundred year old live oak trees dripping with Spanish moss. A formal living room and dining room, den and garden room with all glass overlooking the marsh give you a lot of space in your home-away-from-home (2,600 square feet), and all three bedrooms are large and well furnished. Two of the bedrooms have king-size beds. The third bedroom has two double beds. There are flat screen televisions in all three bedrooms, as well as in the den, and wireless Internet.

There is a full kitchen, a fireplace, a full-size washer/dryer, and plenty of room in the 2-car garage. Centrally located on the Island, you are close to grocery stores, shopping, and entertainment, and only five miles from the beach.

Please email or call me about reserving the home and payment. I do not accept payment through VRBO, but have a local property management company that will provide you with all the details on how to check in, and is available should you need them during your stay.

About The Owner

This is the home I grew up in. After my father was transferred back from The Netherlands, where I was born, (you'll see souvenirs of our days in Holland around the home), we moved here. I kept the home when my parents no longer lived there. I love bringing my own family here whenever we can make the trip, and hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. St. Simons is a special place, and fun year-round.

What makes this house unique

The home is a peaceful retreat to return to and watch the sun set over the marsh, but a short drive to the beach and wonderful restaurants. The layout makes it great for families, or for couples vacationing together.

Guestbook comments from the manager

Came back to this wonderful house after staying here last year, loved it, and enjoyed our stay yet again! We'll be back next year!

My family and I had a great time at this wonderful home. The neighborhood was perfect for an early morning run or bike ride. My dog even felt at home. Will visit again in the future.
